All payments are made through the Delcampe website. Depending on the possibilities offered by the seller, you can use PayPal, add a credit/debit card or make a bank transfer to top up your balance. No payments are made by cheque or bank transfer directly to the seller.
The buyer uses the payment methods available on Delcampe on the page"My purchases : Awaiting payment".
A payment that is not sent through the payment system integrated into the website (if accepted by the seller) or Mangopay will be refunded by the seller to the buyer. An unpaid purchase may result in consequences to the buyer's account.
If the seller's sales conditions include additional clauses relating to payment, these are to be considered null and void. The payment conditions of the Delcampe website, as defined in the conditions of use, are the only ones applicable.
Purchases must be paid for within 14 days of receipt of the final statement from the seller.
All details on shipping above. However I would prefer you to contact me to clarify larger/ heavier items
If you have any queries, please contact me before bidding.
FOR THE ATTENTION OF U.S.A. BUYERS - CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING ON MULTIPLE OR LARGE ITEMS
Due to the changes initiated by President Trump, mail going to the USA may be subject to the imposition of UK Export Duty and a handling fee for the Post Office. There may also be an Import Duty to pay as well.
My understanding is that this tax is applied to any large letter or parcel, irrespective of value.
Items that are thin, eg. Postcards will be fine, and up to 4 in a small letter will go through as standard, prices below. The problem comes with heavier items and those that exceed the £20 compensation level. In this case it might be better to split the purchases and send multiple letters.
My preferred payment method is
MANGOPAY / MARKETPLACE
(you can pay by Mangopay using your credit / debit card)
Simply go to the payments link / add card. It might take a few days to complete, but I am happy to wait.

Every member who lives in a country where Mangopay offers its services* has now a Mangopay account.
To find out if your Mangopay account is open, go to your Payments page.
If this page shows an available balance and a "Manage" section, then your Mangopay account is open.
Note: it is not possible to close or disable your Mangopay account.
You can link a bank card to Mangopay. This enables you to pay the seller immediately or to add money directly to your account. This provides a time savings compared to a credit via bank transfer (which is only available to members using the EURO).
For security purposes, we must process a debit transaction (for example, for €1.00) when you add a credit card or a Maestro card. This transaction is followed by a refund transaction. However, depending on your bank, the refund can take up to 10 business days. The transaction will be transparent in most cases and will not appear in your bank statement. Some banks do, however, sometimes show these pre-authorisations. They may appear on your statements.
This article covers the following topics:
