Shipping after payment
Terms of payment:
All payments are made through the Delcampe website. Depending on the possibilities offered by the seller, you can use PayPal, add a credit/debit card or make a bank transfer to top up your balance. No payments are made by cheque or bank transfer directly to the seller.
The buyer uses the payment methods available on Delcampe on the page"My purchases : Awaiting payment".
A payment that is not sent through the payment system integrated into the website (if accepted by the seller) or Mangopay will be refunded by the seller to the buyer. An unpaid purchase may result in consequences to the buyer's account.
If the seller's sales conditions include additional clauses relating to payment, these are to be considered null and void. The payment conditions of the Delcampe website, as defined in the conditions of use, are the only ones applicable.
Purchases must be paid for within 14 days of receipt of the final statement from the seller.
Specific conditions
Please Note - Some stamps do not scan accurately in the correct colour so do not bid on a particular colour of stamp.

Please note that unless previously arranged all items will be sent to the address shown on the invoice. Items intended for the UK will not be sent overseas unless this has already been arranged.
Multiple Lots
If you are bidding on many items please just let us know when you are finished and treat the invoices as information only. Because of the magic 30 day period that operates with regards to invoices and feedback we will require those people bidding on multiple lots to settle their accounts within 21 Days unless you have prior agreement. Once we have reached 28 days without payment an unpaid item case will be opened automatically.
Important Notice - Whilst it is not possible to offer free postage, you only pay postage on the first item after that several can be combined without additional cost. Combine your lots to save on postage
UK Shipping
Small items within the UK Postage and Handling is 1.00p for this I can combine several lots and these will now be sent 2nd class unless you request otherwise. This will mean reduced costs to the buyer. If you want it sent 1st class then please state this when requesting your invoice.
Larger letter items within the UK Postage and Handling is £2.75 I can combine several lots to keep postage costs down
For larger packages or packages with a value over £20 I will send these 'Signed For' to ensure the item reaches its destination, the cost of this will be £2.95, this will now be sent 2nd class so no increase.
Overseas
Postage and Handling £3.30 I can combine several lots. Once the weight for this postage cost has been reached then the postage will be governed by weight. For Europe then packages up to 250 grams will be £5.90 and over 250 grams the cost goes up to £7.20. These rates can be found on the Royal Mail overseas postage rates. The rates outside Europe are slightly higher.
For larger packages (Over £20) I will send these 'Signed For' to ensure the item reaches its destination. The cost of this will be £8.50

Important Notice regarding postage - Our UK postage costs are based on you winning one small item that can be sent as a small letter first class. If you win more than one we are happy to combine them into one packet to keep the postage costs down. If you are bidding on a larger item such as a cover it might have to be sent at the large letter rate in which case the postage costs will be slightly higher but we will do our best to keep it to a minimum.

For this reason we reserve the right to say that items that exceed £20.00 or lots where more than ten individual auction lots are included then that package will be sent 'signed for' at a cost of £2.75 within the UK.
For overseas customers our standard cost is £2.35 but often we can get several lots in one packet for this. Whilst we fully understand the desire to combine lots to save on postage we are also acutely aware that on occasion items can go missing in the post. For this reason we reserve the right to say that items that exceed £20.00 or lots where more than eighteen individual auction lots are included then that package will be sent 'signed for' at a cost of £7.85 or more according to weight up to no more than £8.95.
I have rules that state over 18 items or £20 items must go by tracked and signed. Overseas this can add quite a lot to the item. If the items are all relatively low value I might offer both tracked and signed and Ordinary postage. You then have the choice however if you decide to request items are sent by ordinary post then you are accepting liability for the items should they be lost in the post. In this instance there will be no refunds. As always my recommendation will be have it sent tracked and signed to be safe.
I start almost all my lots between 39p and £1.25 meaning it is not possible to offer free postage and packing as in some cases they will sell at the starting price, we will however attempt to keep our postage costs down as much as possible.
