We now have the brochure for these changes in english

I expect a lot of the questions above will be answered when the delcampe charter is updated to reflect this sales pitch. According to the charter itself "The notice period will never be less than 15 days as of the date of notificationand will be extended when technical or commercial adjustments must be made by the professional members in order to comply with the changes". As the last sentance definately applies I would hope they will be published soon so we can make the necessary changes.

The blog does say that we will be allocated a store size for free for one month when the system is created. We can then keep that, increase, or decrease the size of the store for the next month. One new piece of information was that if you choose a store that is too small for your current listings the oldest listings will be closed in reverse date order (oldest first) to acheive the desired size at the start of the new subscription.

It also looks as though if you store size decreases in future you'll need to request the smaller store size manually unless I miss an automated reduction system. Make sure you are not paying a for a larger store than you need if you reduce the size of your store.

It doesnt set out what happens if you go into the next store size up within the month due to new listings. Will a payment window appear and will this be pro rata'ed? Are you given a free trial until you can upgrade the next month? Will it close your oldest listings? Hopefully this will be cleared up before launch.

    And another question:
When I sell something, the amount that the customer has to pay is made up of the actual sales price and the Delcampe fees (1 euro plus 40% = 1.40). If I then send the customer a payment request, I can theoretically only send him a request for the actual sales amount (1 euro) (i.e. without fees), because the customer doesn't owe me anything more. Requesting the amount for the fees (0.40) is exclusively Delcampe's responsibility, as I cannot request anything on their behalf. How will this be regulated?

From what I see there is a complete lack of transparency in what the Buyer will see.
The Seller price will be combined with the Delcampe commission calculation - the Buyer sees a single price.
The prices at the lower end of the scale will undoubtedly increase noticeably based on the new Delcampe commissions. I can't help feel that this will detrimentally impact sales. The Buyers will see the Sellers as being greedy too!
Only time will tell I guess.

On my opinion the commissions payed by the buyer don't impact too much on the sales

The big impact on decrease sales is based on the new offer system introduced in january. The buyer can't send an offer if the item is new (less than 30 day of publication). This new system have impacted on my clients sales for around 50 % (mr. Delcampe don't agree on this but I have stats proving this)

Another bad impact is made by the unavailability of Bank payment. But mr. Delcampe have stated "we can't go back in any case"

Only next months can show if Delcampe new rules are good or bad

The word fee alone will probably scare off many interested parties. They will ask themselves why they have to pay all of a sudden, it wasn't like that before. And most items also become significantly more expensive. A very large part of the item has a price of a maximum of 2 euros. This is precisely where the price increase becomes very noticeable. This will also deter the buyer because he will of course notice this price increase. Many people also look at other platforms and see that it is much cheaper (Delcampe 1.40 euros, Platform X 1 euro).

And the prices will remain high. Hardly anyone will belittle her. The vast majority of people here have entered their items by hand over the years and then decided that they should be renewed 99 times. It would be an immense effort for these people to lower the price of each of these items by hand. With just 1000 items you're stuck with it forever. Regardless of the fact that the tool offered is not sufficient to compensate for the mixed increase (fixed + variable), this tool will not be available to the vast majority of people. Because it is certainly to be expected that this can only be used if you take out an additional subscription (plus) for 120 euros per year. Then you simply leave the sales prices as expensive as they become after the surcharge. And the buyers buy the item, but somewhere else...
