Delcampe cancels my attempt to pay them.

    I hope this is just a glitch but it’s a very bad start to a new system.

    I have just agreed to pay for my Store Plus service via PayPal, as requested by Delcampe.

    PayPal accepts the request only for me to receive an email from them advising that Delcampe has immediately cancelled my attempted subscription.

    What is going on, Delcampe? Do you want my money or not? Am I covered for Store Plus or not?

    I’ve done all that, Store plus has not been free for the past few months, perhaps you are confusing this with the store fees which do start in September. Store Plus is the replacement for the previous Gold membership.
    Delcampe tells me that my Store Plus subscription will now end on 12 September!

    Store Plus has been ongoing as a payable service for the past 3 months, at least that’s how long I’ve been paying for it, it has not been free.

    Store plus is the equivalent to the old Gold Membership, before all these changes occurred during 2024…
    We renewed our Gold Membership December 2023, so will not be paying for store plus until December 2024.
    Definitely, Store Plus is not free.

    The thing is that Store Plus payments kept going when Club + expired, in my case from May when my Club + expired, so I have been paying, and as you say your Club + expired on 1 August, your 1st Store Plus payment will be on 1st September, not the 12th, as this is not related to the Store Fees charges which only start on the 12th

    Yes, I'd just worked that out about the icon. I had renewed it because I still need the functionality to move all my sales items from direct sale to auction and back when I'm going to be away from home for an extended period.

    Apologies, I had assumed you had decided to move on to Store Plus, but if not, as you say, your current Club + membership will run for a further few weeks. Everyone will have their own choices to make on that one!

    No, Store Plus didn't work that way, it immedaitely superceded Club + so when my Club + subscription expired on 12 May, I had the 1 month until 12 June that I had paid for, and on 12th June, I started paying monthly for Store Plus.

    The situation is obviously confused by the fact that everyone will have a different finish date for their Club + membership, depending on when they first took out their subscription. I was 'unlucky' that my subscription expired very soon after they introduced the Store Plus system.

    As I say, this has nothing to do with the Store FEES plan, ie the charge for actually having a store of various sizes on Delcampe, which will start on 12 September.
