    Dear,

In your items on sale now, your average price is 1.58€ (it is not confidential, it is public in your store). Before the new changes, over this amount, you had 1.49 left, now 1.39. Of course, it is less... but it is not a big loss...

May I remind you that there is no listing fee at all...

    Best regards,

    Sebastien Delcampe

    Hi Seb
I joined your site a year ago while still retaining my site on e_ _y.I wanted to test it against the other. It does work, however I am at a loss at your direction.Yes there are no listing fees...however the amount you are proposing is not in keeping with the price levels most items sell for.For example...there are currently some 20000 bids active in the stamp catagory...over 50% are under .20 euros. That level of selling price can not sustain a .18euro surcharge. Why on earth wouldn't you just increase the commission from 5.5% to 6.5% or even 7%.This is assuming your main reason for the change is to increase revenue. You will not reduce the number of low priced items any time soon anyway. The biggest waste of space on your servers is not the stamp catagory but all the other fringe catagories which have several million listings and current bids of negligible amounts.
Who needs old papers...toys...antiques and art etc, on a site primarily structured for philately? I support your site and suggest you remain true to what made it successful in the first place. As you know there are new sites popping up like weeds.Once a buyer or seller is lost it is almost always impossible to get them back. Regards Tris

    Hi Seb,

My calculation, during the month July I sold 340 items for a total of 298.74 Euro, or 0.878647 Euro per item. In the current system I had to pay 16.43 Euro to Delcampe, with the new system 67.43 Euro or 4 times more than before, you must be joking.

I will place new lmots till the end of august with a limited duration and remove most of my lots before the new year.

I would like to add some suggestions.
Am not a professional seller and have only some small volume sells.
Most of my items are expensive items. So the new change will not hurt me.
I think that many high volume including professional sellers will quit.
Suggestion: 1. Limit the 18 Cents (12C) to a maximum of 50 items per month.
Or 2. 5 Cents per item. 3. Or raise the comission by 0.5% to 1%.
A suggestion to sellers. Your hard work of adding 1000's of items means that it's a lost of high amount of time and money.
You can try to add a note about the new charge and add this charge to the buyer's bill. The buyers comments???
Still Declampe is the best site for sellers and buyers.
Hope to see all of you staying on the Delcampe site (after some better changes).

Here's an idea. Delcampe says the new charge will not be applied before 1st Jan for new items listed or relisted before 1st September. Use the bulk lister to list 10,000 items with no title or image, at £0.01, and then immediately unlist them. This gives you a bank of listings to use over the next few months. When relisting a blank listing immediately modify it to whatever you want.....good idea?....or a little disingenous?

This is a terrible idea. I have 29000 items for sale or as 'buy it now' duplicates waiting to auto list and am consistently in the top 7 sellers with many items within the price bracket you mention. This will render Delcampe VERY expensive and not worth using. Please also bear in mind it is mainly lower value items that sell whilst high ticket items do not attract as many buyers or viewers. This rule will make it not worthwhile staying on the site. I believe you need to urgently rethink or at least CONSULT with your users. I will have no option to remove around 20,000 items if this proceeds. I am VERY dissappointed in this and that Delcampe have not discussed the matter with users. It is quite clear that the value of items is not the issue. There are one or two users that are drowning the market in cheap duplicated rubbish, but we good dealers selling low value but QUALITY items are being punished also. I urge you to rethink urgently or I, and I suspect a large number of other usres will need to look elsewhere to sell. I have supported Delcampe in many ways, notwithstanding ALWAYS mentioning on Twitter etc and am bitterly dissappointed in this.

Just to add a little. There is a major thread on the "Delcampe....what do you think..." with 100% of the posts thinking that the new fees structure is "misguided" rather than "sane". The French & German philately forums are even more scathing than the English one.

The great shame is that D are no longer listening. The other thread includes such gems as....".....too busy to read the posts on the forum", ".....".....I do not have to justify my reasons....". Maybe so, but what a way to run a business!!

Has the team at Delcampe forgotten that the site needs volume sellers to survive but sellers do not need Delcampe to sell!......there are many other sites apart from e....y. I started to use 2 of them in August with excellent results so far.

All in all a great pity.......just a wicked thought......in my previous life as a business consultant in UK, I often saw doubling of future fee charges used to pad out a prospectus for public flotation or outright sale.......surely not!!!

    Hello,

In your items on sale now, your average price is 4.18£ (it is not confidential, it is public in your store). Before the new changes, over this amount, you had 3.95 left, now 3.87. Of course, it is less... but it is not a big loss...

May I remind you that there is no listing fee at all...

    Best regards,

    Hello Sebastien.

I do not agree "to the charge fixed price per item sold."

This new payment system apply from 1 September.
However, did not change the "Help & Contact / Rates / Fees on Delcampe."
Now apply the new payment system or not?

After the September 1 many people ask stamps under 0.15 €, because they can not for the new pay system.
You have done everything in order that members are aware of the new payment system?
    That is not probable.

I suggest that for the each member appear at the top of the screen in flashing red frame the new payment system, and please change the "fees on Delcampe" Help section.

    Your solutions proposed is poor.
    I suggest:

    1.)
Placing an item in multiple themes.
In the event of a stamp can be assigned to four topics, it is enough to put up once (four seats), and appeared in all four themes.
Suggest that an item can be classified in at least five themes.

    2.)
Prices are calculated as follows: now is incorrect
Your 5.5% is really 5.8%. Your 5.5% twice charged to seller.
    Example:
If the stamp price is 100 Euro, I still have to do it your 5.5%.
    100 € by 5.5% is 5.5 €.
So the selling price is € 105.5.
    So you have to calculate 105.5 € calculate to 5.5% which is 5.8025 € hover 5,5 €

    proposal:
Everyone puts the stamp on net cost (for on example 100 EUR), end shown separately on the invoice the commissions of € 5.5
    (instead of 5.8 €;)
    3.)
"charge fixed price per item sold"
I do not agree with this.
You decide to work over 724,337 members.
This is so delcampe because, many members put up for sale the various items.
    Therefore, they work.
    Yet instead you decide.
However, if you implement a "fixed charge per item sold price"
    you can do is this:
The invoice you create in the "Shiping costs" group before the "Other" item, the "Charge sellers a fixed fee:" item.
It eliminates the need anyone to repair items.
    Please see the attached pictures.
