Payment sent, no response from seller

    It has been over 3 weeks since I sent a payment by bank transfer to a seller, and I have had no acknowledgement of him receiving it or sending the item
    I ordered. What are my options of getting my payment back? I will never deal with a seller again who only takes bank transfers. At least with PayPal I can file a complaint and be reimbursed.

    You answered your own query with this seller - never pay by a method where you cannot reclaim your money if things go bad unless you know the seller really well.

    There is not much you can do regarding bank transfers. Occasionally a complaint to your bank alleging fraud can be successful as the bank sometimes is able to get the money refunded - but this is rare!

    Complain directly to Delcampe and leave suitable feedback for this person.

    Delcampe lets you initiate a dispute if you don’t receive your lot after paying the seller.
    When you initiate a dispute you will be in direct contact with the seller.

    Ok, thanks. The item did finally arrive, though the seller never posted weather the payment came or when he shipped the package. Sellers need to communicate better with buyers, especially when a bank transfer is involved.

    You can request help from a mediator starting on 16/09/2023, 10:34 or after two exchanges.The button "request mediation" will appear in the dispute.
