Sell Similar - Image issue

    Is anyone else experiencing the problem where the original image is not showing? All I see is a box without the image.

    It hasn't been important to me as I have had a new image to load anyway but it concerns me that there might be an underlying problem with the feature.

    Is anyone else experiencing the problem where the original image is not showing? All I see is a box without the image.

    It hasn't been important to me as I have had a new image to load anyway but it concerns me that there might be an underlying problem with the feature.

    I thought that was changed a couple of years ago. When you do "sell similar" you do not get an image.

    No, it was changed back. It is only when you do a 'Similar' on a restart that the image disappeared.

    If I have a mint stamps I do not necessarily want or need to put up a new image ... and therefore selling 'Similar' as a result of making a sale (without uploading a new image) is both helpful and time saving.

    At the moment there appears to be a glitch on the program.

    No, it was changed back. It is only when you do a 'Similar' on a restart that the image disappeared.

    If I have a mint stamps I do not necessarily want or need to put up a new image ... and therefore selling 'Similar' as a result of making a sale (without uploading a new image) is both helpful and time saving.

    At the moment there appears to be a glitch on the program.

    With me this happens occasionally.

    When I go and re-list the item again often the image puts in an appearance.
    It is a bit of a pain as one must remember to delete the listing without the image.

    Though I did eventually find if you check the image is there just before you uploaded the listing you could delete it if the image was not there and upload it if it was was. If not simply go through the re-list again until the image is there.

    Sounds a bit convoluted though I hope it makes sense!

    It looks very much like one of Delcampe's dreaded "improvements" as the wording has changed slightly.

    I must say I wonder why something goes wrong nearly every single time D try ans change something.

    Another irritating nonsense that, unfortunately, is becoming a bit of a trademark. I will email Benjamin

    Our developers indeed made an emergency change on the selling form on Wednesday afternoon. This has helped a lot against the problem of slow image loading.

    In such a case, testing is done, but very quickly (cannot be made differently in emergency case).

    The developer is now fixing this problem.
