How do I bulk close items below a Certain Price ?

With the Changes made by Delcampe and the Forthcoming Changes of Store & Bulk Lister Charges I had made the Decision to reduce my Store inventory from 65,000 items to below 10,000 items.

I had planned to remove all items below a certain Value and leave the 10k higher priced items.
Just economics, because it is not reasonable to sell lower priced items here anymore with the new Charges, plus there are No Buyers here anymore, and Mangopay might have made it acceptable, but NOBODY is using Mangopay, it is now 100% Paypal, and the charges by Paypal on Shipping as well as the charges on the Delcampe fees make it impossible to break even on an invoice under $5.
Of course Delcampe removed the Handling Fee option, so now there is no protection from somebody ordering a 50c item from the other side of the World…

I tried to reduce my items by going to the ONGOING ITEMS selection, but you cannot sort by Value, so you have to go through ONE BY ONE and select each individual item to delete. On top of this if you delete items from the second page it just reverts back to the start page, not carry on from where you left off.
It would take 2-3 weeks solid work to delete the 65,000 items !!!

Second choice is to use the MULTIPLE CHANGES tool, you can delete ALL items here, or by Category, but you CANNOT delete between or below a set value.
When these are moved to the CLOSED UNSOLD items page, it CANNOT again be sorted by value, so AGIAN I have to go through ONE BY ONE and relist or Archive them.
I have been 10 days or so using this method to so far reduce 15,000 items.
Again it is 2-3 weeks work to bring the item count down to under 10k.

The third method I see is from my Store front, where you CAN sort by item value, but again there is no way to bulk delete, so AGAIN I have to go through ONE BY ONE to do this, and it takes 4 mouse clicks each time.
Again another 2-3 weeks to reach my Goal.

How can I do this without wasting 2-3 weeks of my life on a Website that no longer has any Sales???

My current attitude it to Delete everything on the day I get informed my Gold Club Terms end and , PERHAPS, put back under 1000 items.
At least I pay nothing for listing these, which seems fair as I am now selling Nothing on Delcampe.
All items have moved to a hipper place and Sell Well. So I conclude not a problem with my items or prices, but a Buyer decision to leave Delcampe .

    SO…
How can I achieve this without the 2-3 weeks it appears to be needing ??
Does anybody have any ideas ??? :whiteflag:

Suggestion that I have not tested myself and therefore cannot guarantee:
    1. Export all items to a CSV file.
    2. Close all items, including those that should remain.
    3. Edit the CSV file with Excel & Co. and delete all unwanted items from the file. (Sort by price column, etc.)
    4. Load the reduced CSV file into Easy Uploader and upload it to Delcampe.
Before testing, it might be a good idea to wait until someone else confirms that it can work this way. Because I don't work with CSV files or the uploader, so I don't know exactly what is possible with it.

The problem with this solution is you miss all images because after you have deleted an item you can't retrieve the item image(s)

I think the only solution is by using API writing a specific program.

Yes, you're right. The images aren't exported, only the data. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. I see then also the API as the only option if you want to automate it.

That's right. But if you use my method above, the images are not in the new listings, but only in the old ones that are now invalid. To get them to the new ones, you have to work one by one, which is too much work if you plan on 10,000 listings.

I used the csv file to upload to HS, very easy, it converts Delcampe Categories Automatically.
The images I zipped to my Website Server & unpacked them.
HS then pulls the images required.
Issues were listings with Multi images, which I manually added once the uploading was complete.
Time was 5 days for 65k listings. The big time was in image uploads, which took 72 hours !!
But I did something else whilst they were uploading.

With Delcampe it could work the same way BUT Delcampe Uploader does not import images from an outside Server, you have to upload them in Lister.
As I have 200k images, Delcampe will not be capble of handling that.
I will have to sort and delete unwanted images first.
A possibility, but time consuming again.

Maybe I am "Flogging a Dead Horse".

How hard can it be for Delcampe to add a Sort by Value in Ongoing or Closed items pages !!

I did ask, but got a "will look into it response".

Life moves on as one Door closes, another one opens. Delcampe is not the only game in town, however it is good for the European Market.

I found where all our American Friends have gone to ! :D

My experience is that it will try to upload all files in a folder, but I have only used it from my Computer, where it asks for the files to be selected.
If I want to list 1000 items, but the Folder contains 200,000 images, I believe it will need to upload ALL, not just the ones in the file.
UNLESS I go through the folder and individually select them, which is exactly the same effort I am trying to avoid now...

However I will give it a try and see what it asks for in a Server based Directory.

Still a lot easier if there was a Sort by Value in Ongoing or Closed listings page, then I would not have to download the csv, edit it, upload the files again to the Server, and try.

It is about effort versus results.

I do not think it warrants the effort because of stalled Sales.

Also I am down to 30,000 listings and shrinking...

The one with the moustache logo, I'd imagine. Not surprising seeing as Delcampe effectively cancelled half the US market at a stroke.
By the bye, I've seen a lot of my ( many former) UK buyers on there as well!

Just seen that with the new shops subscription coming in they are adding a filter based on price to the multiple changes interface

    Link (https)

As of 12 August 20254 [their typo], these multiple changes will enable you to close thousands of sales at once. You can do this either by selecting categories, or by closing sales where the price falls below a certain amount. This is a new feature we’re offering to make it easier for you to list your items for sale! This way, you can manage your stock efficiently and keep the items most likely to be sold.

    Yes, free for 1 month.

'But you can also manage your stock yourself! To do this, Delcampe provides you with free multiple changes related to item closing and starting from 12 August to 12 September 2024.'

This is to allow sellers to adjust their store size, if they want to get below the store size / payment they will automatically be placed on from 12 August.
