    I was not aware that e bay don't pay out on paypal, we rarely sell anything on e bay anyway altho we frequently buy paying by paypal I assume Delcampe are not going down the same route?

    You may find this thread gets taken down because this is not an eBay forum. This company has taken over managing payments so the proceeds of any sale gets paid directly into a bank account. Customers can still pay through Paypal but pay directly to eBay.

    Delcampe Pay is only a recent introduction so I doubt if Delcampe will go down that route in the near future and if they do you should get plenty of warning as did eBay customers before they introduced their new system which was rolled out over a considerable period of time..

    I was put on Managed payments in May, I had no option, Buyers can pay by any means including Paypal, Eb@y then pay directly into the sellers bank account.
    It was a lot more expensive than I had previously paid (Paypal Micro Payments ) and threw up other problems, Many sellers dislike it and the Dictatorial way it was rolled out.
    Its one of the reasons I revised my Presence here and on E--D.
    I dont regret it.

    My wife joined e bay about 20 years ago using her own name, she may have had a bank a/c in her name but it was closed long ago, it was OK whilst they used paypal, like Delcampe, it was just paid into our paypal a/c via our e mail, but now we can't verify our a/c with e bay!

    A lot of Sellers on there are like here buyers too and they use the funds in their Paypal to buy. Now because the payments aren't going into their Paypal Accounts many have stopped buying.
    Additionally to get onto Managed payments you have to go through several hoops and some even have to send proof of ID.
    I haven't signed up for Delcampe pay but the difference between Delcampe pay & Managed payment is it isn't compulsory.

    Dave, Have you tried going into account settings & choosing personal information?
    You should be able to change your wifes maiden name to married name there then add a bank account in her new name.
    I have just had to do it because of a Typo.
