    It happens every now and again. Top of my t&c's state in red in bold "payment in GBP only". I've received euros and usd both in cash and via Paypal.
    Unfortunately, there's little the site can do about it and of course there's a potential language barrier if you are dealing with buyers from other countries.

    Btw, how are you; not seen you around for a while?

    It happens every now and again. Top of my t&c's state in red in bold "payment in GBP only". I've received euros and usd both in cash and via Paypal.
    Unfortunately, there's little the site can do about it and of course there's a potential language barrier if you are dealing with buyers from other countries.

    Although it's easy enough to exchange notes, coins are generally not excepted by British banks.
    Then they charge a quite high standard, fixed fee. You have to accumulate quite a bit of foreign currency to make it worth while.

    Another idea:
    Save up the euros and ask one of your buyers (from a euro-country) to exchange them for pounds.
    You send the items bought together with the coins - (s)he pays with paypal or moneybookers for the items and the coins.
    I have done the same for a seller from Australia - works fine.
