How to Deactivate Offers on Items?

    Hello everyone,

I've been trying to find a way to deactivate the offer system for our items on Delcampe but haven't had any success so far. Could someone confirm if there’s an option to completely turn off offers or adjust how they work?

Currently, the only parameter I’ve come across is one that automatically accepts offers when they reach a certain percentage below the listed price. However, this doesn’t address the issue fully.

One of our main concerns is that buyers seem to assume we are obligated to accept offers. For instance, receiving an offer on an item priced under 1 euro, rejecting it, and then getting a marginally higher offer (e.g., +0.10 euros) shortly after feels unproductive and quite frustrating.

For the time being, we are no longer interested in receiving offers on our items. If anyone knows how to completely disable this feature, I’d greatly appreciate your guidance.

    Thank you!

I found it strange that there isn’t an option to completely disable offers.

The way offers are currently imposed doesn’t align with our needs, but we resign ourselves to accepting and respecting Delcampe’s direction.

Having even a basic configuration option for managing offers would certainly be appreciated.

Many thanks, @Baltija, for your reply and for sharing how you handle offers. We’ll likely adopt a similar approach by clearly stating in our sales conditions and shop header that we do not accept offers for items or orders below a minimum quantity. We’ll also make it clear that any offers not meeting these requirements will simply be ignored.

After some months of proactively trying to create positive feedback, we have now resigned ourselves to Delcampe’s direction.

Not a single member or admin mentioned the "famous" mid-November meeting that was supposed to include non-French speakers.

Around 2-3 weeks ago, a survey was provided to French-speaking users, but only to those subscribed to the newsletter. While we are subscribed to the newsletter in another language, we never received the survey.

So yes, at this point, we “resign ourselves to accepting and respecting Delcampe’s direction.”

We’re not die-hard fans like some members on the French forums (which I also follow). However, one has to tread carefully these days, as being a dissident doesn’t seem to be appreciated by the general management.

That said, thank you for taking the time to reply. We will adopt a similar approach to the one you mentioned in your previous post.

During the live chat last year, Sebastian said that he would be changing the offers.
A number of sellers had felt that they should be able to set their own parameters as they had done previously.
Too much time is being wasted for buyers and sellers where offers are simply too low for the seller.
Nothing has changed so perhaps someone could update me.
