Delcampe Lister and New Delivery Fees

    I have downloaded the newest version of Lister v4.3.0 and note that the New Fee Templates appear as a Tab.

    However for the .csv and .xls files there appears to be no column ??

    Do I have to import my listings, then go back and update the shipping one by one ??

    I do have to say that in 13 years of being on Delcampe you have always had my respect, however this new Shipping process is an absolute disaster. I hope you get it fixed soon.

    I agree, I'm too old to change, what was wrong with the old way? Are they merely trying to copy e bay?

    I guess if you don't change anything your old fees saved on Delcampe under "Sales conditions > Shipping costs" will be taken.

    i have also downloaded the Lister v4.3.0 and it's not possible to send the items. Does it work for you?

    It is time for Delcampe staff to explain how this is resolved in Lister.
    I have 800 items queued, and they are not going up if I have to go in after and apply the template.
    It is causing enough problems now, without adding to it.

    I changed to the total value template, because the fixed fee one is useless unless you apply a different template to each item to describe the packaging size required.
    If Delcampe think I have time or the willingness to manually go through 61 thousand listings, identify which are large or small envelope items and mark each one separately, they are wrong.
    Even the total value template gives the buyer the choice of choosing the large or small envelope.
    Naturally they choose the small one, because it is cheaper.
    How can I expect the buyer to do otherwise ?
    They do not understand that a large size cover or MS may weigh the same as a small item, but because of size, the packing has to be heavy to prevent damage and requires a larger envelope which is heavier.

    A dumb template cannot work this out, it needs a human brain each time.

    Now I have activated and applied the total value template, I find I cannot opt out, and use the old system.

    Seriously Delcampe have not worked this out yet.

    The sell needs to be able to determine the shipping method and price, NOT THE BUYER !!!!

    Time for Delcampe staff to step up and sort this out.

    I started changing but couldn't remember (I'm getting old!) I went back to old sales conditions to remind myself, now I dunno where I am! (I hope I'm not losing out on it!)

    Letting the Buyer decide what shipping to pay is unworkable.

    Now I cannot undo the template application, and go back to the working old manual system.

    It is time for Delcampe to reply here in public..

    Sweeping the troubles under the rug by using the private help ticket system is not the way to solve these issues.
    There are MANY sellers who have issues, not all of them will step up and be heard.

    Over to you Delcampe....

    Well something must be happening because i can not access the lister unless i download the 4.3 version, then i get a error message, i was going to list the item using the lister but now it seems its back to manual listing, to think i pay for this service is a joke

    But some questions have to be answered privately as they may contain personal data which cannot be shared in the public eye or some of our answers need to have a file attached which leads us to not being able to answer on the forum.     Well something must be happening because i can not access the lister unless i download the 4.3 version, then i get a error message, i was going to list the item using the lister but now it seems its back to manual listing, to think i pay for this service is a joke

    It is not possible to transfer items with the lister v4.3.0. The first item is transferred several times after a very long time and then the transfer stops.

    I have started listing them by themselves , it seems quicker , wasted enough time on that lister that dont work, may consider scrapping my renewal fee when it is due, more work and little reward let alone a lot of head scratching

    It has always worked well until recently. Maybe it's because of the Windows 10 update? A message "Remote Service not available" appears in the Lister. I will inform Delcampe.

    I will try it tomorrow with 700 items I have pending upload.

    I am sorry if I upset you with an aggressive tone on the forum, however it really is frustrating to have something that worked so well for a decade being broken.
    I will respect your wishes and use the contact system, instead of the public forum to sort out the issues.

    I have several, and will start on them tomorrow.

    wow, came back to my computer, reloaded lister, set up the old CSV folder already prepared, set up lister and sent 30 straight to delcampe with no problems, thank you

    I just wanted to comment on the issue of allowing buyers to select the shipping method, size of envelope etc

    I have never allowed buyers to do this and still do not allow it under the new system.......I send the invoices to the buyer after each purchase and the new system works just as well as the old one..

    This resolves the problem of buyers messing about with shipping costs
