    Is it possible to identify the location of these houses in Denmark with the writing on the back?

    Yes! I first read it as Østensaa or maybe Østernsaa but it turns out the n was a v, this would be Østervrå: Vinculo (https) and Nordenbæk is the name of the farm and also the family name. It does not look like Øster Nordenbæk Vinculo (http) so maybe it's Vester Nordenbæk. :-)

    Yes! I first read it as Østensaa or maybe Østernsaa but it turns out the n was a v, this would be Østervrå: Vinculo (https) and Nordenbæk is the name of the farm and also the family name. It does not look like Øster Nordenbæk Vinculo (http) so maybe it's Vester Nordenbæk. :-)

    Østervrå is in the north of Jutland (Vendsyssel) south-east of Hjørring. Nordenbæk is a farm-name I suppose, and also the name of the family, according to the signature.

    It says XXI before Wien. Wikipedia tells me Stadlau was in the 21st District from 1905-38 before being moved to the 22nd. But this looks older than 1938 anyway. :-) You could try googling Kristine Nordenbæk to see if you find someone born some time between 1900 and 1920...

    It says XXI before Wien. Wikipedia tells me Stadlau was in the 21st District from 1905-38 before being moved to the 22nd. But this looks older than 1938 anyway. :-) You could try googling Kristine Nordenbæk to see if you find someone born some time between 1900 and 1920...
