Looks like dolls offered as a prize by the Empress of Russia for the Red Cross of Avignon tombola game.
the message on the back is just a love note to a woman named Yolanda ("I miss you, I hope your doing well, kisses", etc.) the date goes through the word Carte at the top; is it 1941?

Yolanda is a little girl.
Her mum (who writes the card) is sorry because she had to leave her daughter before the end of the holidays (to take care of her grand-nephews)
