No sales today, just an update. If there is no improvement next week and I can't see why there should be im dropping 8000 postcards so Im Below 10000 and moving new listings elsewhere. I was hoping to see some Delcampe reaction on this thread as they can already see the sales have dropped to nothing.

Pretty much the same for me. I had about 19000 listings and would have listed all 30000 of my cards eventually, plus whatever else I get in the future, but I'm now dropping it to just below 10000. But my sales too have tanked this month. I still have about 2500 more to remove, and it's been a hell of a lot of extra work at a time when I least wanted it. I left eBay in 2017 after 12 years, at the point when the store fees there demanded an increasingly large percentage of what the sales were bringing in, and I've not gone back there to sell since. It may be that in the long run the store fees here make it difficult to stay; time will tell. So, I'm transferring all of my older listings here to the site which sounds a bit similar to eBay, but isn't eBay. It's fairly quiet so far, but no quieter than it's been here this month, and I expect sales to improve on the other site as I move more over. The fees there are very low though, so I'm happy to let everything sit there. It's a shame. I put a lot of hard work into my Delcampe store, and the listings I'm removing now have only been on here for about 4 years. Selling these sort of collectibles is a long game, but unfortunately the state of the world these days is drawing the horizon ever nearer.

Cornovia...It would be interesting to know how you are transferring. I am doing the same but card by card. Are you using an automated transfer in bulk.
Closings many listing at once will cause months of work but I will have to do it.

I'm arranging my Ongoing items by item number and downloading them one page at a time (with files named appropriately) with the Export in CSV (Lister/Easy Uploader), then closing that page of 120 sales. Then I open each csv file, in order, with the Lister provided by the site I'm moving them to. But I then cut and paste the details of each listing and upload the images individually, otherwise the images are hotlinked to Delcampe and the categories etc aren't matched very well. So, I like to do them individually to make sure that everything's ok. I can do maybe 40-80 listing each day that way. 100 on a good day, but some days I'm too tired to do any. But I've managed to move over 3900 so far in about 2 months; 3600 still on the lister waiting to be copied; and 2500 still to remove from Delcampe. It's a bit quicker than copying and pasting them straight from Delcampe, but still takes a lot of time. When I get to about 9900 left on here I'll stop, but as soon as the new listings get me to 9960 I'll arrange the Ongoing into pages of 60 and download a csv of the first page, so that I don't go over the 10000. It means that at the moment I have several thousand cards which aren't listed anywhere, but they will be eventually, and that's just the way it is. It'll take time, but there's not really any alternative if I want to do it properly.

Like you I'm not able to spend days messing around with this. I'm not a gold member either so can't go through that route. I think I may just close up altogether and start again at a later date elsewhere
I will take a look again tomorrow and see if I can access lister at the end of the month. Pretty fed up with Delcampe now.
    Sorry for the moaning :D

It's understandable. To be honest, I started by cutting and pasting them straight from Delcampe, as you've been doing, and the truth is that the way I'm doing it now isn't much quicker, but it does mean that I have a permanent record of closed sales. Hopefully they allow all sellers access to the csv downloads for a while in May, as it would undoubtedly help all of us if we had files of our listings for reference once they're closed. It would seem to be the honourable thing to do under the circumstances.

Yes it would be useful to have the record of closed sales, the pressure would be off and I could list elsewhere at leisure. I know if I close sales they are accessible for three months to copy and paste. 8000 in 3 months I don’t think so. Also how difficult would it be to separate stock that is listed and not. Possibly have the shop plus for one month just to access the csv if I can work out what to do.

Three months is definitely not long enough, so it might well be worthwhile to have it for a month. I seem to remember they did a one month free trial for Gold, but they may well not still do that. I'm always happy to help with the "how to do it". It's quite straightforward for the most part. Presuming that Delcampe are ok with that. If not then there are various ways of contacting me online.

    That’s very good of you.
I will spend some time tomorrow looking at what to do. As you can tell I’m not clued up with technology.

and as the days role on, I gleam at my no sales, surely this can not go on forever, figure that if no sales then Delcampe should receive nothing, bit like paying rent for a shop and getting no customers

That should be enough time to get everything downloaded if you need to.

downloaded complete csv, might just close certain listings and go from there, obviously dont want to get stuffed with the site fees they are going to charge once over 10.000

Well, you've got some time to consider what's best to do. I dare say several different methods will work. I definitely can't afford to keep more than just under 10,000 and it's pretty vital to have a copy of those closed listings, or even better to have all of your listings. At least once you've got that you've a bit of time to think about it.

You have got my mind going, I have a list of all the active ones, well that is fine in csv but i also have a complete master folder of everything as well excel. Maybe i should be thinking about getting a csv of closed ones but surely if they are closed you can just relist them anyway ?

You can do, yes. Though closed listings are archived or deleted after 3 months, but it's easy to relist them before that happens.

can you bulk list them using their system which changed recently because i would have to load my whole picture file up which will have about 18.000 pictures, i can see there could be a problem there

I'm not sure, but others here will know. I know the Delcampe lister stopped working recently. I've never bulk uploaded here, just downloaded, and only since the store fees announcement.

Well that didnt work very well, relisted some doing the restart and now have to edit 100s due to being listed in unclassified, just another job to rattle my cage but at least Mr Delcampe isnt going to get 19 bucks off me

Sales have dropped of the graph. I am testing another website (with a moustache logo).....not hopeful they are any good but with virtually no sales I may simply use my average former monthly Delcampe fees to promote my own website and leave Delcampe altogether...not much point staying really. I hope Delcampe spot the error of their ways and return to the former method of collecting fees. I'm not reducing my stock prices simply because of this when my items sell perfectly well on my own site. Such a shame as DC used to be so good. Almost time to say farewell. Btw as an API user I cannot reduce my prices even if I wanted to (which I dont!)

I hope the moderators are watching..........

I think mr Delcampe will have to get a payment of £20 or so from me for a month as I wasn’t a gold plus member so can’t access the export sales feature. I need to remove 9000 to leave it under 10000 sales and take it from there.

Not sure of the page but it featured large in Sebastian’s video about the introduction of the new charges, it’s one of the points where the seller store fees, whenever they are introduced, changes, other ‘break points’ are at <1000 (free of charges), 10,000, 100,000, and 1 million items listed. The fees increase when in excess of each of these figures. The video should be available on YouTube.
