What can I do if the seller did not post my items?

    I paid 97 euro in January 2022 for three items (#1383187655, #1290089038, #1290088828) including registered mail postage to the seller (denoy_philatelie 100% (9728x)), who seems having excellent profile. However, so far I have not received the items from him. I check the icons of the items, which are still showing "Item not sent". I sent him several messages during last few weeks to ask him to let me know the mail track number but get no response at all! Clearly, he has not shipped my items yet.

    I tried to open a dispute yesterday, but the system told me "Unfortunately, no action of this kind can be taken when a sale has been closed for more than 90 days." I have not been with Delcampe for too long, so I don't know the deadline for filing a dispute should be within 90 days.

    What should I do now? Anybody has good suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    How did you pay?
    If by credit card you can charge back.
    If by Paypal or Delcampe Pay I suspect you are too late.

    I used Delcampe Pay for the payment. I once thought the seller looked having excellent feedback records. It seems Paypal can allow one to file dispute within 6 months.

    If you funded Delcampe Pay with a credit card you can initiate a chargeback if you cannot make a claim directly from them

    You should continue to pester the seller and make a formal complaint to Delcampe about his behaviour. Check any negative feedback to see if he has done anything similar before.

    You can only do a chargeback on a credit card.

    But first make sure you cannot retrieve your money through Delcampe Pay. This is because your credit card company will retrieve the money from Delcampe Pay. So best to contact them first.

    Covid-19 virus indeed causes some delay in post, but usually only a few weeks delay. I have received quite some mails from France posted in this Feb. and March.

    The reason I tried to bid his another item is to show kindness to him "OK, if you can send my perious items I would buy more from you." It seems I am wrong to think he is kind enough to accept this friendly solution.

    Did you check out his negative feedback? If you did you would notice he has done similar in the past to other buyers

    For a professional seller he is not very professional

    The longer you leave claiming your money back the harder it will be to do so.

    Have you also contacted Delcampe about his non performance?

    With the intervention of Delcampe staff, the seller finally agreed to post my items, but he can only find one item plus my recently purchased one, then refund the difference. I hope I can receive something a few weeks later. Thank you all for your advice and help!

    This seller replied the message from the Delcampe staff extremely quickly. But he was lazy and just ignor to reply my messages. What a difference!

    You should contact Delcampe first if your seller is ignoring you outlining the history of your transaction with proof of payment.

    Any legal action your take through the French legal system with be both time consuming and costly and may get you nowhere because of the nature of the transaction(s),

    What is your seller's nick name? You can first try to report Delcampe. The staff from Delcampe will help to communicate with the seller. My seller responded to Delcampe staff very quickly but no response to my message.
