    Legal coin collecting is not under threat - using Paypal to pay for the coins of the 13 you have named would appear to be, but only that. Solution - find another way to pay, people managed to do it for centuries before Paypal came along - not worth giving yourself a heart attack over!:cool2:

    Anyone concerned about Paypal's actions should note the BBC programme Watchdog is doing an expose/feature about Paypal next Wednesday evening. The more who Email their concerns to the BBC the more clout such a programme can exert.

    To contact Watchdog simply Google it and all the contact details are there.

    "I emailed Paypal and asked them if it was true that such a ban was in operation. Their first reply was totally and utterly irrelevant, so I complained about that .Their second reply was brief and very clear:
    “THERE IS NO SUCH BAN on using PayPal to pay for these types of goods. PayPal does not allow someone from Cuba to have a PayPal account, however, which would not affect your situation. You would have to check with eBay directly to see if they allow these types of goods to be sold on their site."

    This I find interesting. The question I would ask of them is why they are then interfering in business and private web site sales and sales on non Ebay sites like Delcampe?!
