We seem to have a day where no notifications are materializing.

So far I have noted: no sale notifications (again); no invoice notifications; and no Favourites List.

    Not good at all. :help:

I can now add 'Delcampe Payment advices' to the list. Thankfully still receiving the PAYPAL notification!

    Absolutely no notifications at all.

And no word on what's happening.

    Annoying is an understatement. :whiteflag:

I don't know if I am an exception but all my notifications have been coming through - I just sold a postcard and the notifications were almost immediate - the same for a big order for phonecards earlier this morning.

The only anomaly I have had were some very late sale notifications that arrived long after I had actually shipped the items but this happened over a week ago.

Keeping my fingers crossed this does not hit me as well.

    Am I the only one?

Just about impossible getting a message to Delcampe Support!
They intercept pointing to references in HELP. When you are reporting a software problem the last thing you want to get is an automated HELP response!

It seems it's only a UK problem...perhaps it's because of Brexit??? LOL.

Yes, that's what happened to me too ... but then a day later all notifications stopped. EVERYTHING.

I am receiving emails from all other sources except Delcampe. For example, I get the PAYPAL payment notification from PAYPAL but the normal advice does not arrive.

The only email from Delcampe that comes is when I report the problem - I get the acknowledgement.

It is totally bizarre. And Delcampe don't seem to keen to investigate blaming on my BT Email server and/or my PC!

I vaguely remember in times past when I was with BT they did cause problems with my email address I had with them by dumping masses of messages into a spam folder. I did not discover this for some time as this is one folder I rarely chacked.

Maybe this is happening to you?

No, I check and clear all spam folders.

The latest response I have from Delcampe is that BT are blocking all emails from Delcampe so they never reach my email box in the first place. I think that this is highly unlikely ... why pick on only Delcampe emails!!!!!!! :angryfire: All other emails are coming through fine.

I am really disappointed with the Delcampe Support response.

Nop, I don't receive any notifications.
Delcampe suggest that BT are blocking their notifications but this isn't possible. I have checked with BT.
The only way that this can be done is if I initiate the 'block' i.e. I record Delcampe as a blocked sender. In that instance I will never receive emails from Delcampe. However, I have checked all blocked senders and Delcampe isn't on the list!

This is now becoming a perfect 'gotcha'.

I am now having to regularly check all possible messages on sales / customer contacts on Delcampe!

It sounds like something somewhere has become corrupted.

Try canceling your email address on Delcampe and then re-register it or use a new address altogether. This seems peculiar to you as I am definitely receiving all Delcampe notifications.

This is the best bit of advice to date.
I changed my email address to one that gets forwarded to my BT email address ... and bingo I got a notification from Delcampe. Changed it back ... and no notification of change. :fight3:

I am perplexed but sort of operational again I think.
    We'll see.

A couple of tests with email addresses seem to show that no notifications will be received from the Delcampe ISP to BT email addresses.

However, if you route the notifications to another ISP provider who then forwards them to BT email addresses then that works!

Give me strength ... I think I'm losing the will to live.

Does the fault lie with Delcampe's ISP or BT? I guess I'll never know because no one is likely to admit fault.

These sort of problems is why I left BT in the end. They never admitted to anything and their customer support was dreadful - plus they are one of the more expensive providers who penalise loyal customers - or at least they did when I was with them. At the time I was on an 18 month rolling contract with them at something like £26 a month for their fastest unlimited service. I could never remember and BT never reminded me when the rolling contract came to an end. I simply discovered when my quarterly bill doubled in size!

I would put the onus on BT being at fault somewhere - but I doubt if they would ever admit it.

The logic doesn't fully support this as I have discovered that I can get my notification to my BT account if I re-route them via another ISP.

So I know that I can't receive them direct from Delcampe's ISP to BT. So maybe the fault is with Delcampe's ISP or is at least something that both BT and Delcampe's ISP need to resolve.

There must be other sellers and buyers using BT that will be affected as I don't believe it can just be me.

And yes BT is expensive but I've never had a major problem in nearly 30 years until now!

It will be interesting to see if other BT subscribers have the same problem.

I also was a long term BT customer for more than 40 years and so long as things did not go too haywire I stayed with them through inertia. But then a whole series of problems cropped up at once and the nightmare of dealing with their customer service finally convinced me to move elsewhere and my bill dropped by a third with - so far - a trouble free unlimited service. My internet is quite heavily used by myself - my two sons who are heavily into playing on line games and my wife who spends considerable time watching Filipino movies streamed from the Philippines, Facebook usage, VOIP international phonecalls and the like. Also now it is very easy to change providers unlike before when it was a great hassle to do so.

I can't blame BT without proof.

If you ship a package as the originator of sending the package you have more chance of tracking / tracing the package if it is lost. And technically it is your responsibility. It would be very difficult for your buyer to trace the package.

Similarly, Delcampe originated the notifications. How can I trace the missing items with BT when I have no information as to exactly when they were sent and via which ISP. I therefore need Delcampe to investigate. Saying it must be BT's fault and washing their hands of any responsibility isn't really good enough.
