    Well here's another one.

    The item description is no longer being shown on the PAYPAL payment advice. All the other information appears to be correct but looks like the PAYPAL interface has dropped passing the item description!

    Quite frankly the new system is a mess.

    when I make my settings in my sold items and want to see the Pictures, I must select:

    Detailed & with Images

    if I Switch to:

    compact & with Images

    no Pictures are to be seen.

    I am not posting a screen shot of a customer payment on the Forum.

    The payment advice presents as follows:

    Description Unit price Qty Amount

    #44447506 £0.90 1 0.90 GBP

    and so on for 40+ items
    and then the usual totals

    The item description e.g. 'Southern Rhodesia: 1947 Royal Visit' is missing and would normally appear alongside the reference number. It is not appearing.

    Note that this is the payment advice received from PAYPAL. My suspicion is that the item description text is not being passed to PAYPAL via the Delcampe-PAYPAL interface.

    When adding the postage, the total amount does not sum up before sending the invoice.
    After experience I know that it does AFTER having sent it.
    But this is certainly not the way it ought to be

    Have you corrected the multiple currency error yet? My chosen currency is USD but I sell on the Australian site in AUS dollars too.

    The transactions are properly converted to the currency that has most sales but the postage/charges slots are quoted in euros (a currency that I never use). The old system always quoted post charges in USD as this is my selected currency

    Hi!

    New problem.

    I have received rare payment via Skrill, but have not received any e-mail about that from Delcampe. If you have alleged that you have created "integrated" payment system (whatever it means), it was only logical if I can see what payment method buyer has used. But now, if I have not received your e-mail, I must go trough all my accounts to find this payment.

    Under the "to invoice" tab, when right clicking on the "invoice" button to open a new tab or window, it takes you back to the home page instead of the invoice page.

    One more problem.

    In the old system the list of sold items, if item have several pictures, showed all images. Now I can see only first image and there are no any indication that item include several pictures. At least for me it is important.

    Can't enter P & P on the invoice not use any of the other amount boxes. The boxes are not accepting amounts!

    It was possible under the old system to mark as 'Sent' individual items. Now that is not possible, you can only mark as 'Sent' entire invoices.

    This is a problem if for some reason items are sent separately (eg require different packaging), and I want a record of what has been sent and what hasn't

    I agree - it should be made possible again to mark individual items as sent. With large invoices it is very cumbersome and prone to mistakes to have a complete invoice marked as sent when only one item is marked as such.

    Often I get customers with large orders that I pack over a period of a couple of days and it is impossible to pack these and mark the items as packed when you only have the choice of no items marked as packed or the complete invoice. This current system is open to expensive and time consuming errors.

    This makes it all even more confusing and hard to overview.

    We are no "social media* 'platform here - I absolutely have no sense for such useless and unwanted gimmicks.

    It was rubbish! Unpaid and paid items mixed up together, no way to print dispatch notes or labels in bulk.

    How you large sellers cope with the dispatch of large quantities of stuff I don't know. I sell mostly elsewhere and it's so much easier.

    OK, the new system isn't perfect and it still doesn't sort out bulk printing (unless you export the data to spreadsheet). But it's a step in the right direction.

    I'd rather have a basic system that works than an 'all singing all dancing system' that doesn't.

    And as a large seller, I can assure you that sending orders to customers has become a lot more complicated than before the new 'improved' system was introduced.

    I think the praise for the 'old' system was made because it worked for those that used it. Familiarity made people comfortable with it.

    This new system should NEVER have been rolled out until it had been thoroughly tested in a beta version available to testers on ALL the Delcampe sites and a good cross section of large and small sellers. Most of these glitches that have caused such grief and anxiety to both sellers and buyers alike could have been avoided without all the 'bad vibes'.

    Remember this was the second roll out of the new system which was supposed to have had all the glitches ironed out. When it was rolled out it was almost as bad as before!

    With 20 feedback to your name since January, you are hardly a heavy user of the checkout system.

    I know we are all creatures of habit and we don't like change, but the old system worked.

    Not all of us are fans of spreadsheets and use them.

    I sell on 3 different sites and frankly the old Delcampe checkout system was the one that was most suited to my mode of operating. Coincidentally, that was the way I operated on the big site, long before I had heard of Delcampe. Nowadays, occasionally I sell something over there, but I don't like their "sold items" screen at all and for the 3rd site I sell on I have to heavily rely on the email notifications I receive in order to keep track of things.

    I am not against change per say, even if it means I lose some of the features, but it greatly helps others, but so far I have not seen many positive comments about it. You are a lone voice in a sea of complaints.
