    today I corrected a seller : the stamps he wanted to sell were NOT at all Judaica related , but were in the Jewish religion list . His reaction was to put me on his blacklist ! Not important for me . :):):)

    I have noticed some obvious errors of a few listings, I had let them know very politely (maybe only 3 total times since I've been here), with the intention of helping, I never received a thanks but you being blacklisted just shows you their demeanor, I would not want to trade with a seller like that. If I see too many obvious errors from the same seller I just block the seller and I wont see any more.

    I have noticed some obvious errors of a few listings, I had let them know very politely (maybe only 3 total times since I've been here), with the intention of helping, I never received a thanks but you being blacklisted just shows you their demeanor, I would not want to trade with a seller like that. If I see too many obvious errors from the same seller I just block the seller and I wont see any more.

    Thanks for your reaction . I always received a "thank you" , and they corrected their error too .

    I will not correct any error made by a seller anymore . I was again put on a blacklist by one who had his Egyptian lots under Israel "lots and collections" . I asked him if his Cairo card was in Israel .... Blacklist . So two such experiences are more than enough for me

    I also received a nice thank you from an other seller , but this does not change my decision .

    I will not correct any error made by a seller anymore . I was again put on a blacklist by one who had his Egyptian lots under Israel "lots and collections" . I asked him if his Cairo card was in Israel .... Blacklist . So two such experiences are more than enough for me

    That is a great shame. I always welcome someone pointing out my errors.....occasionally I can get over-tired when listing and, for instance, may forget to change the category or part of the description from the previous listing - or may have completely mis-identified of course.

    I much prefer an approach from another member on a friendly basis than the sometimes hamfisted (& occasionally incorrect) intervention my a 'moderator' with the super-arrogant accompanying email threatening death by a thousand cuts if an item is re-listed or whatever.

    Hello Robert ,
    two of the maximum ten sellers I have corrected putted me on their blacklist . That's my experience . It can be that I was not lucky , that I corrected not so nice people . I too would be glad if someone corrects me , in a polite manner of course .

    Regretfully nowadays short-term memory is quite a problem.......one of the joys of retirement I guess. But at least I am doing my 'forgetting' in a warm climate. :zzzzz:
