picture domain issue / too low speed causes errors

    Today Dimitri from customers support contacted me due to the still existing issue of my too slowly delivering picture domain

    which causes problems in the upload procedure.
    This occurs now since about early April - and that was exactly when I switched to a new ssl certificate , which obiously was not recognized from your server to be sufficiently certificated, which might have caused the slowdown - that seems to be the most realistic scenario.
    So today I setup a completely new ssl - certificated for the domain with "A" ranking.
    So I guess and hope that the issue is solved now and I will load a test upload as per May, 18th ...

    hmm as I now see you cut off my API-connection , so I am not able to run a test load with the newly A-certificated picture domain

    In addition I want to clarify, that I am not doing a starter test out of the green, but my API/server/domain frameworkhas already being tested for many years with several other target platforms, which currently do not have any problems with it.

    As the most probable bottleneck - the ssl issue - is now solved - I would like to run a test load with my decampe API-
    Please contact me asap and advise when we can do the test - therefore you need to re-open my API-connection, which you cut yesterday (I get authentification error)
    I am awaiting you offer for testing ....

    Hello Chris,

    We have noticed that your server is no longer responding when we run a lot of requests. This results in all our image upload processes being blocked for all our members.
    In principle we have a timeout system to avoid blocking but it doesn't seem to work in your case.

    We are currently investigating to find out what is going on.

    We will set up a workaround to re-enable your access to the API. I'll let you know when it's done.

    the I can confirm you that my Server + image domain are working both in a good performance , and this since a long time.
    The most likely reasons seems to me that your security filter needed additional time to check the security of each picture as the ssl-certificate was not "A"-rated for about 6 weeks (ca. April 5 till May 17th).
    So tonight (May 18th) I changed my ssl-provider and now there is again the A-rating with my domain

    so you security filter should be ok with my pictures again ....

    Awating your "go" for my API access

    I just realized, that you did not only cut my load rights but , also the API-function where I collect the client data.
    Sorry , but this I cant accept at all. I definitely need die API-funtionality to source the client data as per today.

    I can confirm that we have problems when we execute a lot of requests to your servers. This problem is not related to your SSL certificate.

    When I try sending a lot of requests, your servers start responding quickly and then after a while, slow down and eventually stop responding. I can send you a video if you wish.

    can you see after how many loads , this occurs ?
    so, what maximum number of loads do you advise per order in general ?
    Are now all API-functions in place again ?

    We benchmarked your servers. It seems to be running without stopping at a speed of 5 image downloads per second.

    It is difficult to know exactly when we first encountered difficulties as no response and no logs reach our servers. However, it is assumed that it happened for the first time on 08 May around 16:30.

    A first testload is finished, a second is currently ongoing.
    I assume with the now smaller amounts per load there will be no more problems with a buffer overload.
    Should there be any future problems with the buffer overload, I fully agree to cut the loading queue with a respective info to me via your client support - BUT please do not cut again my API access , as loading is only one of three API processes in place - the other two are : getting sales data + closing external sold articles.

    Hello Chris,

    We had to cut off your access to the API because the timeout problem was blocking all our users from putting an item up for sale.
    We've now set up a temporary system that handles your sales without affecting the sale of other users.
    We can now cut only your loading queue of items for sale without cutting your API access.
