MAIL ARCHIVE: Family and commercial mail archive, with 165+ letters and documents, most dated between circa 1874 and 1880, almost all with long texts and very interesting and historical contents describing the political, environmental, commercial situation of the period. There are many signatures and important names mainly of the provinces of Córdoba, Santa Fe and Santiago del Estero, for example: Pedro Lavaysse, Eduardo Bulnes, Luis. E. Vernet, Julio Astrada (then Governor of Córdoba), Absalón Rojas (Governor of Santiago del Estero), Cecilio Echevarria (letter with notable comments about the construction of the Port of Rosario, 4 pages), Ignacio Velez, Luis Velez, Alcorta, Ramón Álvarez (good number of letters about the changing political situation), Angel Carranza, Aubry Verde and Lino Verde, Emiliano Carmona, Luis F. Thiriot, Sandalio Echevarria, Natal Crespo, José de la Quintana, and many more. The letters and documents have varied origins: Córdoba, Buenos Aires, Cañada de Alvarez, San Javier, Rosario, Asunción, Quebracho, Santiago del Estero, Montevideo. Many of the letters have long considerations about the political situation of the country and the Province of Córdoba (specially about the Departament of Calamuchita), political alliances, military problems and topics of great historical relevance.
