Delcampe issue with PayPal

    I went through the normal procedure to pay via PayPal through Delcampe and the PayPal transaction appeared to complete normally but it is not showing up in Delcampe as complete nor in Paypal after 10 hours. No emails from either site. So what is happening? Is it stuck in a Delcampe queue? I don't want to pay twice. Ebay payments work fine.

    I should add that this occurred with 2 payments to different sellers. I have not had to pay anyone else since and certainly won't be using Delcampe again if this is not resolved.

    If you haven't done so already you need to report the problem to Delcampe.

    Have you tried phoning paypal to see if they have a record of the payments?

    I had a problem a few weeks ago (not with delcampe) whereby the payment appeared to be Ok when I did it, but the transaction did not complete. I called paypal who said that the payment had been declined. Paypal said that once its declined they do not take the payment. I then checked with my credit card who told me there was not a problem with my card and that the payment was 'pending', but that paypal had not asked for the funds. I was told by my card company that if paypal did not ask for the funds then the 'pending' payment would eventually be cancelled. Sure enough about a week later the pending transaction disappeared and nothing was charged to my card.

    So try calling paypal. They should at least be able to tell you if the payment was made or not.

    I have noticed, that the payment procedure has slightly changed since some times. AFTER you have been logged in to your PP account and leave it, you need to verify your payment with a final click at the D site. I also forgot that once or twice - with the result of a non-completed payment.
