[D*] Customised delivery zones

At Delcampe, we like to surprise our members with new features. As most of you already know, the customised delivery zones have recently been introduced to our website. This was an improvement request expressed many times by our sellers. We decided to make their wish come true and, after a rather tedious implementation work, you can now take advantage of this feature which will offer more precision in the management of your shop.

You missed this new feature and your pupils are turning into question marks as you read this post? Here's an example that should perfectly illustrate this feature to you:
You are a British seller and you use Royal mail services. They have defined three different zones for Europe. You want to send a parcel to France, a country in a zone named “ Europe Zone 1” by Royal Mail. Before, you could not define specific delivery fees for this destination. You could only set shipping rates for your country of residence, your continent and the rest of the world without distinctions between countries. From now on, you can create a specific zone, such as “Europe Zone 1”, and assign specific delivery fees to countries included in this zone via your fee templates.

Depending on the countries to which you agree to deliver, you will have from 1 to 3 zones created: your country of residence, your continent and the rest of the world. You can modify these zones as you wish and even change their name. Good news, you can create up to 7 different zones!
