    I bet there are MANY MANY MANY more difficulties that will come to light and need mending.

    But there is ONE THING you can't fix again, no matter how hard you try :

    It's the basic trust we formerly have had into Delcampe as being OUR site.
    After those events with BELATED information, half-lies and "Survey" I personally do not trust in you as "my site" any longer.
    You don't care about the wishes and Needs of your PAYING guests - you have become a BAD UNFRIENDLY host .

    BEST OF BOTH WORLDS can only be meant ironically :ahah:

    someone likes to mock himselt abnout those naive members thinking in old Terms:

    A GIVEN WORD IS A GIVEN WORD - but obviously not in both worlds

    Here's another nuisance error.

    As a U.K. English speaker I would expect to receive 'request for invoice' in English irrespective of the language / country of the sender / buyer. This used to be the case in the 'old' system.

    Is this a deliberate change or another software error?

    I have one item which has not been invoiced yet, because the buyer is bidding on another item.

    The item appears correctly under "to invoice", but under the tab "all" it tells me that it has been invoiced.

    another useful feature from the old system seemed to have disappeared:

    when you formerly issued an invoice, but the same buyer had ongoing bids on more of your items, the system displayed those not yet finished items and politely asked me, if the invoice should be sent or not.

    The open items in question have been hihglighted in pale red as I remember?

    I recently tried to send out an invoice to a buyer, knowing he still has one itemoing on.....but now, the invoice was ready to send - no warning at all

    I just bought some items, but they immediately are moved to list "Awaiting payment" although I have not received any invoice and payment form do not include p&p fees.

    I'm really getting tired from these endless problems.

    Just relisting some similar items from the new sales pages via the 'Sell a Similar Item' link next to the item.

    Items have listed on 'Delcampe International Only' rather than 'Delcampe United Kingdon & International' which the original listings were on (and listings would have been relisted under the old system).

    Will drop you an email also Benjamin.

    Now I have not received also an invoice from the seller.

    Perhaps my invoices to my buyers also disappear in the jungle of new system's glitches? At least at the moment I have couple of buyers who have not reacted on invoices. Please do finally something.

    When searching "archived", the result shows all items, including any items that have not been fully processed yet.

    Also when searching for a keyword, it shows all items within an invoice, which means many more items to display/look through to find what you want.

    Under non-archived items, I clicked on the link "see all items" next to the username. I was expecting to just see the items for that particular invoice, instead the result showed me everything this member has ever bought from me back to 2011.

    As far as I am concerned, the whole point of archiving items is to have them removed from ongoing transactions. It appears, now they are mixed together.

    I also find that in certain instance searching highlights the search text on the listing description without filtering the items you are searching for. If you have a lot of items to search on this is as good as useless because you then have to look through all the items to see which ones have a highlight phrase.

    I've had my first experience of "multiple sales".

    I sold an item last Sunday and the buyer was bidding on another item, which ended this evening. I had not sent an invoice.

    My settings are to show "most recent" first.

    Under the "all" tab, before invoicing, this buyer remained somewhere down the bottom of the list in date order for last Sunday. I would have expected to find them at the top of the list.

    It was only after I sent the invoice, that they jumped to the top.

    I am not having many sales at the moment, because I am not at home, but frankly I am dreading next Sunday, when they will all come together at the same time.

    There's certainly little or no third-party testing and scrutiny being applied

    Apart from the mis-labelled feedback the delivered/despatched problem still hasn't been fully sorted - yes, the tabs along the top of the invoice screen have been changed, but the tabs at the left-hand side still say 'Awaiting delivery' and 'Delivered'

    Well....surprise, surprise, all my sales over the last few days have recorded OK....granted there ere not nearly as many as usual but I must say that matters are slowly improving.

    It would be nice if the silly irritants were dealt with like the currency sign in the wrong place on the invoices, postcodes showing before town names for countries that show them after.....Mr Emmbersplace title (who's bright idea was that? shall we refer to the site as Mr Delcampe?), the archiving problems etc etc
    etc.....

    The old feedback drop-down menu still seems to be operational so I am using that instead of the new (still faulty) system

    Delcampe - Can we all now have a bit of peace and quiet on the 'upgrading' front so that we can try and recover all the lost sales/profits suffered by the various connectivity & uploading problems the site has had over the last 2 years? If you feel that you really must tinker about with some other admin facet, why not canvass your sellers first or is that too easy?

    I have to remind myself that the ONLY reason that I am on Delcampe is to sell product

    That explains why, when I woke up this morning, I had received a payment (from a customer who bought something last night and who paid straight away), that didn't include postage. They paid direct via paypal,, not using Delcampe checkout, without waiting for an invoice.

    The customer obviously thought anything in 'Awaiting Payment' needed paying!

    I am not happy.

    Is it possible that your settings are "allow buyer to pay without awaiting invoice".

    If that is the case you are not able to create an invoice (at least that is how I understood it), the system automatically creates it for you, but does not take p&p into account.

    If so go to Account>My Information>Store Parameters. Scroll down to "managing my payments" and click "no".
