    The new items sold page should come with a health warning.....that is to sellers blood pressure. Please check out my Delcampe Website posting (in response to webmaster)

    Or maybe it was only my listings that were wrong?

    Do I need to send you some of my BP pills?

    I had 4 paid for sales prior to this disaster. I shall use the email notifications and Paypal to send them out.

    But tbh, I cannot see how buyers with outstanding payments can possibly pay me. 2 of the lists include items sold as far back as Jan 2013, which had been archived anywhere between a week and over a year ago.

    There is no way to make any sort of modification to the invoice (as far as I can see).

    What a total shambles :thumbdown::d-unhappy:

    The thought has already crossed my mind to close all my 21K+ items and I see you are considering the same thing.

    I shall wait until we get some sort of an announcement.

    I had 4 paid for sales prior to this disaster. I shall use the email notifications and Paypal to send them out.

    But tbh, I cannot see how buyers with outstanding payments can possibly pay me. 2 of the lists include items sold as far back as Jan 2013, which had been archived anywhere between a week and over a year ago.

    There is no way to make any sort of modification to the invoice (as far as I can see).

    What a total shambles :thumbdown::d-unhappy:

    The thought has already crossed my mind to close all my 21K+ items and I see you are considering the same thing.

    I shall wait until we get some sort of an announcement.

    I need to take some valium myself.

    As soon as you click the 'send invoice' button it sends an invoice without allowing any postal / charges / buyer instructions to be added!

    I can't print a packing list until AFTER I've sent an invoice. I don't always want to do this .. and in any case I now need to go to another tab to accomplish this task. Sounds like automation to speed up the processes ... not!

    There is no way to resend an invoice if an adjustment needs to be made or a reminder sent!

    There is no way to get to my closed sales ... I have to select between the various tabs.

    The sequencing doesn't work.

    I am at a total loss why Delcampe keep creating these disasters. They seem to strive for technical elegance rather than just providing a stable system to allow sellers to sell.

    And now it is impossible to access the 'closed sales'! Persumably they are trying to fix a problem or many. :thumbdown:

    Luckily - or unluckily (only time will tell), late last night after watching a film, I booted the computer again and had a couple of sales. I invoiced them straight away under the old system.

    I got a couple of auctions with bids on that end at lunchtime - I'm dreading it!

    And the more I look at this the angrier I am getting.

    Everything is sequenced by buyer ... there is no way to see the transactions as they close!

    I also note that they present this new system with a single sale. Was that the extent of the testing? They should present with multiple sales and multiple buyers.

    At the moment I don't think I can work with this system ... it makes assumptions about the way sellers operate and forces them down a specific road. At least the 'old' system allowed complete flexibility for all. This has all the hallmarks of the Bonus Card system when it was launched - ill conceived and not well though through.

    Ok, but I just want to see the items as they close as we did before. Everything is sequenced / grouped by buyer. It looks clunky as well.

    I've also noticed that the invoice is picking up items already paid for ... and these are included in the packing list. If you have 10s of items sold to a single customer you can imagine there's loads of room for mistakes ... and there's no facility to send a revised invoice! Well done Delcampe ... what should have been a run of mill easy day has turned into a disaster!

    And look out for the packing list - the format has changed too.
    The salutation has gone AWOL as well.

    To suggest that this system has been tested when every time I look I find something else wrong ... and I've only been messing about for an hour or so ... is an absolute joke.

    Further, the system has slowed noticeably.

    If any of you guys can make it to the Lake District I have a copious supply of Ramipril, Co-codamol and Paracetamol for the headaches, plus a selection of fine malts in the cabinet to pass the time waiting for the site to work properly

    Oh, and there's no flooding and even a little bit of sunshine to make everyone feel happy
