watched list unable to add items

    :question:Hi Folks
    I have recently upgraded to IE8 and I don't know if this is causing the problem .When I try to add anything to my watched items list the window opens but the page doesn't load tried several items always the same problem.Hope someone has an answer Please

    I do use Google as my default home page ,so I went into internet option and changed HOW POPUPS OPEN to open popup in new tab and it worked .Many thanks .
