Unfair treatment of refund for non-payment

    A buyer who purchased a number of items on 28th March has not paid for the items purchased despite reminders.

    After 5 weeks without payment, I have cancelled the purchase and blocked the buyer.

    When trying to recover the fees paid to Delcampe for the transaction, I am informed by their system that I am unable to reclaim their fees until 31 May, a full 2 months after the transaction took place.

    Delcampe have introduced a system whereby they receive instant payment for items purchased, but do not extend this to buyers seeking refunds for unpaid purchases.

    I consider this to be totally unfair. Delcampe should apply the same principle to refunds as they do to purchases, and process refunds immediately.

    In the past refunds have always been near instantaneous unless there is a manual review - which for me has always been undertaken within 2 business days.

    A real step backwards if that date is their new policy.

    Indeed, this has, in the past, worked perfectly satisfactorily. I do not understand why this has been changed.
