Trouble accessing the old site

Obviously I was finally able to get to the old site, otherwise I could not post this message as the forums are not yet available on the new site.

When I went this morning to Lien (http) it presented me the new site, all in French, as has been the case for some time now. I went to the bottom of the page and clicked on the "Ancien site" link as usual. The page redisplayed to show me the new french language site again!?

I have tried this on both Chrome and IE- same thing.

I had to use Google to find a way into old Delcampe site.

Also, on the French language new home page, I could not find anyway to get the site to use anything but French. Using the site selection pulldown at the bottom of the page, it again would redisplay to show the French version of the site again regardless of which site I had selected.

That seems to be an ongoing intermittent problem. There are posts from several weeks ago describing the same phenomena.

Yes, I am very annoyed at the way it keeps randomly takes me to the French site.

Is it Delcampe's way of trying to keep us Brits in the EU? :whiteflag:

    Hello,

We will look into this. This may be linked with a language update that have been done last week. Thank you.

Maybe you should also look into why the Payment Advices originating from the new site are not correct. They look as if they have been changed recently? Still not as good as on the old site version but in addition they aren't correct. Poorly tested. You might want to take a look as I'm surprised others haven't raised a problem report.

No, it is still sending people to the French site.

For example when trying to bulk edit listings, it is not possible to do this on the old Uk site. When you try it just redirects to the new French site

It does seem better now, I initially get the French/International version, but now can successfully switch to the US version.

    Hello,

Yes, we managed to at least allow the user to switch to their preferred language.

Today, our team is looking at why the automatically chosen language is wrong.

We expect a fix in the next few hours.

    Thank you for your patience
