    This is usually because the scan was at a low resolution. For example single postage stamps can be scanned at quite high resolution (say 400 dpi) and these will enlarge to show considerable detail. Low resolution scans of between 50 to 100 dpi will not enlarge very well.

    If you are looking at a particular sellers items you can ask them to send you a higher resolution scan or use the zoom function (which will be useless with low resolution images).

    This looks like a problem with your computer possibly as I am having no problems seeing the pictures in the scroller or enlarging them.

    Maybe an anti malware scan or run a programme like CC Cleaner to free up your computer memory will solve the problem.

    There might have been a problem with the pic loader a few hours back as I had a similar problem when listing on the UK site. Seems to have cleared now....
