Made a sale at 6.15. It's now 9 and I still can't send invoice to the buyer, because the item is still stuck in my ongoing sales.

No doubt it has something to do with the changed appearance of the "payment methods".

    Benjamin,

It is not a coincidence that it happens at the same time as "improvements" to the check-out system are being made.

Every time, changes to the website are made, things go wrong.

I despair from time to time :angryfire:

I currently have an ongoing sale of a higher value item to a newbie. This bid was placed as a direct result of me plugging Delcampe/the item of Twitter. I hope things will be sorted by the time this item finishes or we will "lose" this new member again straight away. It's first impressions that count.

    I had noticed.

    Benjamin,

I have brought this up previously, but will do so again.

    1. Could we have a warning when planned changes to the website are made - either a forum post or a banner on the homepage. That way we know in advance that their may be issues with the smooth running of the site.

    and

    2. If there is a particular glitch like this one, again could it be publicly announced, please?

In the long run it would save you and the others time, if there is a forum post where people are being made aware of a particular problem and can report their experiences, rather than receiving 100's of emails about it, which in my experience are being replied to sometimes several days after the event.

This appears to be happening again.

As I pack items I click on the icon to mark the item as sent - but the icon stubbornly refuses to shift to green.

Its causing me a lot of strife as with big orders I end up looking for something I have already picked and packed!

Anyone else got this? Or is it peculiar to me!

I get this as well from time to time. To sort it, I have to come out of the particular screen / part of the menu which I'm in to something else and then come back to it again, which seems to cure it , but is annoying:mad:

    I missed that one.

But I closed an item at 10pm last night, it's now 8 am and it's still showing in my ongoing sales.

    Hello,

An API Seller made a mistake yesterday. His system asked that all his 130,000+ sales to be closed. So, our system to close the items was very slooooooow because of that :crying:

This seller contacted us, and when I saw his email today morning, I immediately fixed everything for him, so the process which closes items is now again correctly functional. everything should be processed very shortly.

Note: this did not affect the system to close *sold* items. Only the *unsold* ones.

You know, a website may be like a truck. It is previewed to handle 10 tons of things.... A bigger one may handle 20 tons of things.

If 364 days a year, you just carry 5 tons, the smaller (cheaper) one is by far enough and perfect.... but 1 day the carriage is of 15 tons.

So, as everything, it is a matter of choice. But of course, now that we have had this case, we will put in place a system to handle it better

Pure coincidence I think. Check the timings I've been quoting - one was something like 6 pm and not sorted at 9 pm and the other one was 6 pm to 8 am in the morning.
