As I have done before I set my listings to end 30/07 at 0.00 and restart when I come back, but now well into 30/07 and nothing has happened! Now panicking that they will still be up when I go, anybody else had this problem or know the answer? (I messaged delcampe but no reply as yet)?

If you have used the "change ending day/time" option, if you have automatic relists left, they would automatically be restarted.

I have never used the Close/restart feature, but if you used that could it be possible that 30/7 0.00 actually is midnight tonight?

I did wonder about the time but just cannot see that as midnight is 24.00!?
A real pain as you can just bet somebody will go and buy something and then I will end up taking on holiday with me to post!:angryfire:

Change all fixed priced sales to auctions & set the closing date to a day or two after you get back.

When you return, you can switch them all back to fixed price.

That way, you still get the exposure & sales and may also get a few nice surprises!

    Have a great holiday.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I just had a look at that as the suspension didnt work again last night and I am running out of time. When I try to change them all to auction it says number too large or similar (there are 2098 items to do) but it doesnt tell me what amount can be done at once!!
And I still havent heard back from delcampe, do they ever respond to messages?:angryfire:

I get that message & carry on regardless & they all seem to change.

Alternatively, instead of changing all sales in one go, split into sections - ie just Europe stamps then just Africa stamps etc.

When you click on the "change fixed to auction.." etc, it does say :

"The modification process may experience some problems because it affects many sales.
By using the options "selection of sales", you can reduce the number of sales and limit risks. "

I'm sure somewhere else in the process it says that the maximum number of sales you can change in one go is 50,000 which is a lot more than the number you are trying to change.

    Try again.

The site did "throw a wobbly" a little while ago - I was unable to access forum or my delcampe.

Btw, that is how I operate. I sell everything in auction format. When I go away I change the ending dates in such a way that nothing ends while I am away.

Yes - it no doubt will.

If you only have auctions in certain categories, you can change all sales back to fixed price then revisit just those categories that had just auctions & change them back. You can "drill down" to the smallest of sub/sub-sub categories.

If you had a mixture of auctions & fixed price sales in one category, then I suppose it's a case of "use with caution" and manually change the relevant ones.

Also I have done as suggested and gone through this message have reached the "Modify Sales" stage but before clicking this I would have wanted to set the Auction End date but do not have option for this yet?

I dont have any auction format items currently so that wouldnt be an issue, but can I set auction end dates for multiple items, if I had to change all individually it would take the length of my holiday!

Managed to get them all changed this time, and without the message about being too large a selection! But when I then went and changed the end dates to 19/8/12 it said some of my end dates are outside the maximum for auction and they have been reset to within the maximum.
I assume this is because all my listings are fixed price with a repear of up to 99 times.
Does this mean that when I reset on my return I will have to go in manually and reset the 99 times option!?
Anyway thanks all for your help, just wish delcampe could have responded quicker to the issue with suspending listings.

I spoke to soon! Have just checked my ongoing listings and while they have changed to auction format the change of end date hasnt worked properly. The very last items do have the 19/8/12 end but most of the ones before have stuck to their end date, down to even ending tomorrow. So I tried to change these again as they were all definitely withing the 28 days, chose 19/8/12 and a slightly different time, but it comes up still with
"The maximum sale's duration on Delcampe is 28 days. As the auction end you have asked () would involve that some of your sales exceed this limit (Click here), we changed the end of them according to the maximum of 28 days."

Why is this system so difficult. It took me 2 minutes to change things on ebay and so far it has taken hours on here and still not done!

I have a mix of auction and instant sale items so I simply closed all my listings before I went away on holiday and will restart them again on my return - no fuss, no faff, no messing around with end dates

As an added bonus all my sales will show up as 'new' when I restart them and so appear at the top of most search listings...

But that is what I originally chose to do with the closure set for 0.00 on 30/7, but it never happened which is why I am now stuck!
And I thought restarted sales didnt show as New?

Scheduled multiple features dont seem to be working and I couldnt get round the problem with resetting Auction item end times (still saying they fell outside 28 days and most items were ending in the next few days still!), so I gave up and just closed the lot, and will have to sort it out when I return!
Thanks for the suggestions, apart from delcampe who dont seem to be able to respond quickly!

Xtf, you are not right there.

They will have the "new" icon, but they won't show up at the top of the listings - they keep their old item number and stay in the position where they used to be.

They keep the same number but are you sure they don't bubble to the top in 'by start date' listings?
