    I have commented on exactly the same thing in a thread on the 'Sell on Delcampe' forum a couple of weeks ago. I've had about 5 of these in the past few weeks so the answer is yes, they can 'rise from the dead'.

    No idea how, my only thought being that they are items which somebody had on watch for some time and have 'bought', but the system doesn't recognise that they are already sold.

    You are not alone...I have had 5 or 6 issues with items no longer in stock.My stock is all numbered and impossible to mistake an item when preparing an order.The only explanation I can come up with is that during the great Delcampe technical breakdown some year ago...items which I tried to download disappeared.They took for ever to download and would get locked up.I would wait for ever and try again. I suppose some items ended up listed twice.A buyer would buy one of the duplicated items and some time later another buyer would buy the duplicate.And of course there is no item left in stock.It is extremely annoying as I have a buyer who is upset,Just in the last week 6 items sold and 3 items missing.I refunded the buyer immediately and I was given negative feedbacks.I have posted "Some items are subject to prior sale" in order to cover the possibility of future incidents.I am totally annoyed at having to deal with this problem and have contacted support for some explanation or suggestion on how to deal with this problem.

    Just had another one today.

    Not sure when the item actually sold but has reappeared and sold again.

    Another awkward email to the buyer to explain the problem.

    At least I can point him in the direction of this thread.

    Not sure when the item actually sold but has reappeared and sold again.

    Another awkward email to the buyer to explain the problem.
