    Hi Benjamin...the problem has somehow fixed itself.I was referring to the selling form.It was working fine and it started to slow down on the image upload.It then would not upload at all.I tried for over 10 minutes without any image upload.Just after my email to you it started working fine...as it is now.I will let you know if it does it again.

    Hi Benjamin...the problem has somehow fixed itself.I was referring to the selling form.It was working fine and it started to slow down on the image upload.It then would not upload at all.I tried for over 10 minutes without any image upload.Just after my email to you it started working fine...as it is now.I will let you know if it does it again.

    I have the same problem this evening.
    I can't upload images via the selling form.
    I've tried several times without succes, and I get this message every time "Image being sent... Please wait"
    I have now waited for a couple of hours, and now it's nearly bedtime for me. :psy:

    For those that rely on Delcampe for their sole income the consensus appears to be the same - looking at other selling platforms.

    There must be something wrong at a very basic level if the site is so continuously unstable in regard to one issue - image upload problems.

    There must be something wrong at a very basic level if the site is so continuously unstable in regard to one issue - image upload problems.

    Great pity. The picture problem that D keeps telling us is fixed.....isn't. There is now a notice "difficulties concerning the images".

    As others have said, this is becoming ridiculous and I am aware that the "patience" that sellers are being thanked for is fast running out! The site has major instability issues on a regular recurring basis and it is rapidly becoming not viable .

    Benjamin......can the IT team fix the problem. Yes or no. If so when?

    Please remember that your sellers have businesses to run too and at some point many will decide not waste any more of their valuable time time trying to list here because of these recurring stability problems. That will leave the remaining sellers in a very difficult position as you no doubt understand.

    Yes.....there are obvious precautions that sellers now need to take. Site completely unavailable for a while this morning (early morning GMT)

    I do so hope that the IT team at D are up to the job and can finally get things right.

    I uploaded about 30 items with the lister half an hour ago. They all show in my store with the images.

    I'm glad that I changed to using the lister a year or so ago. None of the waiting around for pages to load (or not as seems to be the case) and if they don't upload I can do it a 2nd time with just a few clicks.

    Pictures aren't loading on selling form, or on modify item page. I've tried with both firefox and IE browsers

    Hello Benjamin...could you please let the sellers here on Delcampe know exactly what the problem is with the uploading of images.You have had your tech people make fix after fix,yet this problem repeats week after week.I was under the impression that the fee increases last December were to be used to upgrade your servers.It seems that after one year this basic problem should no longer be an issue.I for one need to schedule my day around the possibility of being able to upload new items.Please give us all some real information regarding this.

    The image seems to appear in the basic lister,but once the orange sell button is pressed the upload does not complete."Waiting for Delcampe site."and will not complete the upload???

    Its very erratic at the moment, sometimes it loads OK, sometimes it doesn't.. It 'hangs' a lot, and sometimes the picture eventually appears, and sometimes it gives up and I have to start again.

    I'm getting very fed up.

    Yes, I am starting to believe that they don't actually know what the problem is. If that was not the case, surely it would have been resolved by now.

    The situation is becoming farcical because it is a regular merry-go-round of pictures not uploading - IT team attempting a fix - fix made (temporarily) - pictures not uploading et al.

    It seems as if there is no permanent fix to this - unless the 'big' sellers start to migrate to pastures new (or an I too cynical?). The opposition is offering big incentives to attract more business back to their venue though this will only be short lived as they hammer one once you start to make too much money. The bottom line is if the sellers leave so will the buyers or vice-verse (or both) and once gone will be difficult to attract back. Members of the trade association I belong to have been muttering how difficult it has become to earn a decent crust on Delcampe and some are viewing the opposition through rose tinted spectacles again.

    Delcampe really does need to make the effort to make the site more stable - after all that is what the fee increases were meant to finance.
