    Dear Alan,

I have been in contact with the buyer of your items and when I verified her E-wallet, I did see all of the 191 items in the list, so everything seems to be in order now. However, I do not know if this is due to a fix or because the system needed some time to update.

Should you still encounter difficulties like this one in the future, do not hesitate to contact us at info@delcampe.com .

    Best regards,

Thank you for the prompt and reassuring update.
And now to update all the records ... manually!

I know the interface with PAYPAL has been improved recently in that all the items purchased / paid for now appear on the PAYPAL notification. However, one of my customers ran into a problem yesterday when trying to settle via e-wallet as he was not being allowed to pay for all his purchases. Since he had purchased a staggering 191 items I did wonder whether there was a limitation within the 'new' interface?

He has since sent a manual PAYPAL payment so there is no issue in terms of holding up the order but I'm not relishing having to update the records item by item :crying:

Anyhow I would be interested in your comments and/or the experiences of any other sellers.

I have a similar problem, also with a high number of items.

Someone purchased 111 items from me. I sent an invoice and was paid promptly.

However, there are only 100 items on the Paypal list and the amount is wrong.

This is a regular customer and I am pretty sure that she won't have altered the invoice, although I have not yet been in touch with her.

It's funny but I sensed that there might be a 100 (or perhaps 99) factor at work. In my case the customer spotted that they weren't paying the correct amount. However, during the process they triggered something that marked many of the listings as paid, though no payment was actually made - I only noticed this when I worked through the process of marking all the items (191!) as paid / item sent. When I did this I could see that some were marked as paid i.e. 'payment received' and others were still at 'payment requested' status. I didn't bother to count how many fell into each category! For me the issue was closed as the customer had me in full via a manual PAYPAL payment.

But maybe this is something Delcampe should look into further.

    Alan,

I have just sent an email to Delcampe with images of my invoice/paypal list of items etc., providing them with as much info as possible.

Tbh, I havent checked if all the items appear as paid or not - will go and have a look right now and update.

My situation was slightly different ... but it is perhaps worth recording.

My customer aborted the e-wallet process because it was obvious that not all the items were included for payment. The net result of this seems to be: (1) none of the items were marked as paid via the icon but (2) the items noted for payment were displayed as 'payment received' (the others were left as 'payment requested').

You may want to double check that ALL your items have been marked as paid. If so that would appear to be prima facie evidence of a software fault.

    Good luck.

    Dear Alan, Mainly,

As I have already said in the other thread concerning this issue, we have found the cause of this difficulty. It seems that PayPal has a 99 item limit and as a consequence of this invoices containing more than 99 items could/will be incorrect.
Our technical department is aware of the issue and will at the issue as soon as possible.

So no worries, we are aware and a solution is on its way !

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the update.

Can you confirm that the discount feature will operate correctly.
I have no reason to believe that it won't but would appreciate reassurance.

To be quite honest with you I am not sure of the additional value of having all the purchased items shown on the PAYPAL payment notification. [In fact they don't all appear if the customer sets his advices to 'text' in PAYPAL.]

Personally, I'd be quite happy to see just the total paid showing purchases and postage separately ... as it was before.

    Hello everyone,

Just an update on the 99 items limit which was causing difficulties: a fix was applied and the issue should now be resolved :applause:

@ Alan: so far we only had one instance where a discount was not taken into account when making a PayPal payment, no further complaints, so everything should be working correctly. However, should anyone run into difficulties with PayPal/E-wallet payments, please let us know in this thread.

I'll be checking the forums regularly.

    Kind regards,

    Dimitri from the Delcampe Team
