Ask Payment / Print Delivery Note not working

    Ask Payment / Print Delivery Note
    ---------------------------------------------
    The ability to print an invoice / packing list AND sent an invoice are not working as at 8 a.m. (UK time).

    When selecting the buttons to Ask Payment or Print Delivery Note you are offered a blank screen!

    Clearly this is an URGENT problem to be fixed. I hope someone from Delcampe is watching the Forum.

    Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

    How are you expected to offer excellent customer service when this problem keeps surfacing ... and you can't even manage the situation because you don't know why it's happening because Delcampe just refuse to 'communicate'.

    Very, very annoying and frustrating.

    It wasn't working at 6.30am but is now ok at 7.40am.
    Better get the invoicing done before it breaks down again ... sounding a bit pessimistic I'm afraid.

    It wasn't working at 6.30am but is now ok at 7.40am.
    Better get the invoicing done before it breaks down again ... sounding a bit pessimistic I'm afraid.

    Down still at 8.05am!

    I have quite a backlog of orders to pack and invoices to send due to this current round of problems. My customers are fed up as well and I have had a few messages stating they will not be buying until all has been fixed. I can't blame them! Some are paying anyway but with wrong postage and packing or none at all so these payments are returned whilst I send a 'manual' invoice.

    Delcampe's deafening silence really is not good enough

    If these major disruptions continue with no or little warning and no indication by Delcampe of how long they will take to fix I am going to have to seriously review my position here. I cannot afford major disruptions to my income due to the seemingly haphazard way Delcampe deals with major bugs and problems.

    Seriously pissed off!!

    Lo and behold!! Back on again at 8.30am!

    BUT FOR HOW LONG?? Has the problem been fixed? If not an estimate as to how long we are going to have this on-off-off-on system running would be greatly appreciated.

    The concern has been (and remains) that the problem has recurred persistently since Friday and there isn't too much confidence that the system will remain stable.

    No one is any the wiser as to the cause of the problem since there has been no communication from Delcampe. Customers have also been wondering why we haven't been able to send invoices and I know some of them have had problems making payments too.

    In summary, the situation over the weekend has been unsatisfactory (an understatement) and compounded by the lack of communication from Delcampe. I trust you will mention this to Seb.

    As an aside I would be interested to know the purpose of the new feature (which I presume has caused this hiatus) which introduces the new button entitled 'Place the address of the recipient on the other side'? Also is it necessary to show the address of the buyer twice on invoice / packing list output?

    I do think that this issue of 'communication' from Delcampe when there is a serious techical issue on the site needs further consideration by Seb. This matter has been raised many times in this thread ... and others before.

    Regarding the new feature - thank you for the explanation - good luck to anyone using duplex printing by the way. However, perhaps you could also explain why the buyer's address appears twice on the invoice / packing list when I use the standard output method. It looks a bit odd.

    Thank you for doing that. Could you also ask them to remove the reverse image of the selection buttons that appears on the printed invoice too. This error keeps appearing every time a change is made to the invoice program(s).

    I must admit, I quite like the address being on the left hand side of the invoice rather than on the right as it was. Not sure why some countries "must" have it on the right. It always struck me as odd.

    Anyway it certainly speeds up the packaging process when using window envelopes by not having to print out labels or writing the buyer's address by hand.

    That said, I don't mind it being upside down at the bottom as long as the damn thing works!

    My point is that the address appears twice ... which looks odd.

    And also there are bar lines on the invoice which are actually reverse impessions of the selection buttons. Again, looks messy and untested.

    the problem has surfaced again within the last 24 hours or so ... I imagine someone has been fiddling with the invoice print programs again?
