Inventory endpoint 504

    Hello

    We got issues with the endpoint to fetch our inventory : Vinculo (https) got a bunch of 504, sometimes got a reply between 40 and 60s to fetch 500 items :/
    numberOfItems parameters has no effect on request time, i have tried from 50 to 500.
    Can you check this perf issue plz ?

    Hello comptoirdesmonnaies,

    If you get a 504 response we should have logged an error in the monitoring system, and I've not been able to match with you account. Also, I've not been able to reproduce this error by trying the same call multiple times.

    I think this might be related to some period when our servers are more loaded, can you please provide the precise time when those errors happened? It would greatly help me to do the investigation.

    I have tried manually from postman a few second ago, no 504 errors this time but it tooks about 45s for 500 items, seems slow because we have to fetch 300K.
    Enclosed you will find error log with UTC date when error occured on automated process.

    It's normal. We have 2 clients with more than 1 millions items. The first query take 45/60 seconds.

    I suggest you to increase the connection timeout to avoid this error

    I can increase my query timeout but over 60s delcampe API timeout with 504 it will not help, the best would be to optimize endpoint and probably the slow query behind.

    On my experience the slow response is on the first 1000 items only
    I have taken a look to your call and I suggest you to use this endpoint instead of /item/fixedprice/opened:
    /item/opened

    this endpoint is optimized for clients with more than 100000 items like you and me :)
