I'm using the same piece of code since past year and now I have many troubles with the CloseItem call.
The code is quite simple, it calls the getItemInfoByPersonalReference to get the ItemId and then, if the return status is OK, it calls the CloseItem and checks the return status.
If the return status is ok (true) it considers the item closed.
What's happening from the beginning of august is that, sometimes, the return status is TRUE but there is no notification on the item closure and the item, of course, is still on sale.
I repeat, this is not happening on any request, but only on some of them.
I have a log and I checked to see if there is some difference but I found none, and, if we look at the call itself, there is no reason to close a particular ItemId instead of another.
Please give, at least, some hints.

I'm a developer, so I'm writing on behalf of my customer(s).
I still have the problem.
Yesterday, around 19:36:04, my software sent a request to the API to close item 472927192 and received the following:

[status] => 1
[errorMsg] =>
[data] => Your request was taken into account!
[personal_reference] =>
)
As you can see, the API response is OK, but the item is still on sale.
the customer is LIBRERIAGRANDANGOLO
Got the same issue for a lot of items and i can not end them manually (100K items on delcampe !)
How can we try to solve this problem ? i am ready to help as far as i can, we have to cancel some sales each day and customers are angry against us.

I thought the problem was solved because some item was correctly closed, but yesterday a request to close item #464826437 was not processed (there was no notification for item closure) and I had to close the item manually.
I have several customers using API and I wonder what I can tell them.
