    Hello,

    'Allomas' is the Hungarian word for '(train) station', so you should probably search in Hungary?

    However I didn't find anything with Zselkofka / Zselkovka / Czelkofka / ...

    I think it is "Shelkovka" in Smolensk Oblast, Central Russia.
    "Zs" in Hungarian sounds like Sj , just like "Sh" in Russian names

    I think it is "Shelkovka" in Smolensk Oblast, Central Russia.
    "Zs" in Hungarian sounds like Sj , just like "Sh" in Russian names

    Hi,

    There is a railway station immediately north of Shelkovka (technically spoken it is in Dorokhovo), but the building seems to have changed (which is of course not unusual: your photo dates from 1898...).

    So the question remains: Does this spot correspond with your photograph?

    Searching with Шелковка gives quite some results on Google: Link (https)
    If you can read or understand Russian (or if you know somebody who does), maybe you could find an 'official' website of Shelkovka where you can ask your question? It's a long shot, but I don't see another possibility.
