There is the Photographic archive of J Valentine and Co., Dundee at the University of St Andrews - but this seems to be set up for scholarly consultation rather than online browsing, at least at present.
Are there similar databases for any of the other major (or minor) publishers? I haven't found any! But maybe there are databases for some of the French or German publishers which I would have difficulty in finding.
