what does it all mean?

    Hi
As I've said before on the site, I am learning all about postcards, but Philatelyland has too many mountains to climb for a novice.
Among my postcards I've found this one with some scribblings along the top, which I believe are references to either the stamp or the postmark. Can anyone help me work out what it all means? Fanx.

This takes me back as a former civil servant! The scribblings along the top are the initials of the various staff members who worked with either or both of Elsie and/or Sheila to signify that they had seen the card on its circulation around the office - nothing more sinister (or interesting), I'm afraid, although the card does have a nice cancellation (Sonderstempel in German), often used on philatelic mail or to promote the town/ area on holiday mail - no great value but better than many such items

Oh, Lord, that's made me laugh! :veryhappy:

Well, let's hope it's given a few others a giggle too.

If anyone would like the postmark, please let me know - you can have it with my compliments....

    Thank you Mooonstone!
