    Hi,
    The size of collection is not as important as the quality and value to determine how much effort you need to put into selling your stamps.
    Dependant on this, you might be better off selling in bulk rather than trying to sell in singles or sets.
    Delcampe is certainly a good site for selling. I am located in Philippines and 100% of my sales are outside Philippines so no problem with Romania.
    If you need any help deciding, why not upload some pics on the forum or, if you like, you can send directly.

    Yes, the sales here range from individual low value stamps to album collections & rarities. Values obtained compared to Michel will vary from country to country from as low as 5% to maybe 70% or more for desirable, scarcer items, MNH of some countries pre 1960, scarce covers etc.

    From experience I have found other specialist places slightly more convenient to sell major collections in bulk at a fair price but it is always worth a try as listings are free. My own listings are mainly individual items, sets or covers with lot prices from 40c to $200 each. Other members find the auction format better.

    Anyway, good luck & welcome to Delcampe. Let me know if you ever list a bulk sale, album or collection.

    Yes, the sales here range from individual low value stamps to album collections & rarities. Values obtained compared to Michel will vary from country to country from as low as 5% to maybe 70% or more for desirable, scarcer items, MNH of some countries pre 1960, scarce covers etc.

    Hi. I did nor want to mention any other specific alternative sites in my original reply because I did not think that a Delcampe forum was the right place for that.

    However, I have actually traded on the other site that you mentioned (ebay) for nearly 10 years and most definitely would not recommend it for high quality expensive collections. Its OK for medium size lots but prices obtained are generally poor unless the seller has his own website to upload lots of pics and has a cache of regular customers.

    There are other specialist websites for collections....... Or, of course, real old fashioned land-based auction houses (principally in Germany, UK or USA) are available too for really good quality product.

    Ok. Thanks, I had a look. Did you review what % catalog value other sellers are using for Romania stamps from that period? Larger lots will, of course, be at even lower %tages.
