Payment options ?

    Hi there,

I have joined Delcampe during the last few weeks and I am very pleased that I have done so.

I notice that some international sellers, have neither Pay Pal or Money
Bookers accounts available. Surely, one of these should be mandatory ?

To make a bank transfer from the UK, is currently, about 15.00 euro, per
transaction. In these circumstances, it is not worth buying small items, when this method of payment is required.

Not everyone will like using Money Bookers or Pay Pal, but they are both
very "handy" tools in the market place.

Does anyone have any comments regarding this ?

Start making payment methods mandatory and Delcampe becomes no better than eBay

If sellers don't want to accept particular payment methods that is up to them - it's they who are missing out on sales as buyers will go elsewhere

Personally I accept (almost) any method of payment including IBAN which is loathed by many sellers who say it costs too much to accept; likewise deposits into my bank account, electronic transfers and even, on occasions, barter

    Hi,

Yes, I agree with you. Where I live, out in the wilds, either paypal or moneybookers are essential. Delcampe to strongly recommend their use I think.

Any serious seller not using one of those methods is merely affecting their own sales.......there are loads of sellers!!

    Best regards
    Mike.....(an expat Brit)
