Unusual cancellation - any collector interest?

    Hi,
I've got this stamp of French Indochina with a 1909 cancellation from Poulo Condore (or Pulo Condor or Côn Đảo, an island of 5000 inhabitants off the coast of Vietnam). It must be an unusual cancellation. Would it be worthwile uploading such a thing for sale? Would it be worth anything?

    Thank you,

    Hi,
Thank you very much for the info! The stamps are fixed on a French postcard (see below). I'm a bit surprised about the 45 euros valuation - I've got numerous postcards with similar stamps on them that I don't consider to be valuable. Is this one particularly valuable?

    Regards,

    Hi,
One of our friends on the French forum is of the opinion that a postcard with this combination of stamps and cancellation is not unusual. He says that there was a holiday resort in Poulo Condore, this suggests that the cancellation is in fact not so uncommon. (Half a century later, Poulo Condore was not a holiday resort, at least not an ordinary one - but that's an entirely different story).

Thank you very much for sharing your views. I'll probably upload the card for sale - let's see if I can find out how to do that!

    Best regards,
    ATM
