Hi I have a cover with I think arabic writing.

Can anyone identify and catalogue there are cancels to reverse also.

I can see the word ANNA on prepaid mark

So possibly Indian?

There is also sickle and star in postmark is that Iranian?

Yes I am flumoxed I have made out that the writing on the left reads 1/2 Anna and Post stamp. There is a Star and crescent in middle of prepaid mark and writing above.

I am thinking this is more Arabic than Indian. It also looks like a 19 in the overprint of cancel so maybe 1919 used by troops?

Hope to find out what this is soon. I know sometimes even low demonination items ie 1/2 Anna can be interesting.

Will post here if I find out but I cannot read the language!

Please someone unravel the mystery!
