Ireland Slogan error?

Hi Forum!

I have found a stamp on piece cancelled 1972.

Alongside it reads 'PLEASE SHEW DISTRICT NUMBERS IN DUBLIN ADDRESSES'

Am I missing something or should the word read SHOW in which case this would be a typographical error

So is this actually a spelling mistake error or just part of the local dialect???

What might someone pay for such an item is it previously recorded>>>>

I have now been informed this is not an error but a variant on the word 'show'

I am however selling the item on piece for £1.99 no reserve for the Ireland slogan cancel collectors out there!!!!
