Increasingly poor seller services

I have been a banknote buyer on here for many years.

Generally, sellers provide an excellent service.

However, I am noticing and experiencing a reduction in quality of service from numerous sellers.

    issues include:

    1. Forgetting to add one or more notes purchased. Then, when this is notified to them - just cancelling/refunding the note, instead of posting it to honor the original transaction. My decision to pay the initial postage is based upon overall value. Had I known a note(s) would be missing - I may not have made the purchase.

    2. Poor communication AFTER the sale. Sellers sending the wrong note - then simply ignoring communications about their error.

    3. The horrible trend of using excessive amounts of sticking tape, on multiple layers of packaging (including taping the note sleeve to the packaging. This INCREASES the likelihood of damage / folding to the note, when trying to remove it from the package.

    4. When a seller offers the 'lower' or 'group lower' bid option - then completely ignores reasonable lower bids. Why have this option on their account, if they have no intention to receive lower offers.

It feels as if 'customer service' is no longer important to many sellers.

    Hello from Switzerland !
I only want to answer your point 4:
this unwanted change was introduced in April 2024; from then on Delcampe arbitrarily changed the system in its favor, much to the dismay of sellers and buyers.
Before, each seller could opt out from placing lower bids by buyers; this prevented tensions between the two parties. it is also to mention, that Delcampe now blocks every communication, if no prior deal was made......so the seller simply can't answer you.
