Everything else just usual chit-chat (I am well, I hope you are well etc.)

Yes, it's deliberately without a real location, I think.

The card is addressed to Nuremberg (in Franconia), and the roof type of the church could also suggest Franconia. Of course there are roof like that in other parts of the world, but there are dozens in Franconia. See Link (https)
