Unable to search seller's shop by item price

I collect postcards. I go to a seller's shop, I search on a topic and get a list of say 100 items. I want the items listed from lowest to highest price. I try to achieve this in the new layout and time after time I get a list of all the items on the system for my search topic, many 1000s of them, listed in price order but I cannot achieve this just for the seller's shop I am interested in. Why not? There was no problem with the old layout, which was intuitive. The new system appears to have been designed by someone who doesn't actually use Delcampe, which is typical of website designers, all clever ideas but no practical knowledge or experience. Delcampe used to be easy to use, now it isn't, it is time consuming and frustrating.

It is not possible to apply any filters in a seller's shop at all. As soon as you try to change anything you go back to the main site.

It's no wonder I am number 4 in the UK top stores with next to no sales.

There is a button "Filters & Sorting", top right of the listing

i hate looking for items on here. very few filters and no wonder i'm not selling anything. you need a filter system similar to ebay when it come to postcards. also when you want to buy from a overseas dealer, i can't understand a thing of what they've put in the conditions. i used to sell quite a lot on here, but not anymore. i think Delcampe ought to ask the the sellers and buyers what they want. then everybody will be better off all round. you need a system like ebay and ebid.

I agree with you as far as terms & conditions from foreign sellers is concerned - unless you speak the language, it's difficult to figure out what they are saying (which also applies to Ebay and Ebid), but there it stops.

Filtering and sorting here is easier than on the other 2 sites you mention.

Look at the 2 images below and you will see there are plenty of filters.

In the first image I've already dug down to your postcards only - this can be further filtered down at the left hand side to specific categories only - top right there is a dropdown "filters & sorting", which brings up a variety of options, including price range and possibility to search cheapest or most expensive first.

These options are available in seller's stores, as well as the site as a whole.

Due to the sheer volume of listings on this site, you have to build up a good inventory and list on a very regular basis in order for your items to be found.

but with ebay, you can sort out what cards you want. for instance, the size, the era, whether you want photographic or printed, and the subject. that way if your looking for a particular card, you've got a better chance to find it rather having to troll through hundreds or even thousands of cards to find it. if somebody put vintage postcard of Lisbon on there headline, it makes my job more difficult. but if i know the size and the era and the format of the card, at least i've got a better chance of finding it. i do find it a lot easier finding subjects on the other 2 sites.

as for foreign sellers on ebay, nearly all of the ones i've looked at have been in English. it also tells you approx how much the postage is there and without having to decipher how much it is. to me the way they do it on here is awful i feel. Etsy is the best site for putting up the price of postage worldwide.
