    Yes it's no doubt a Russian postcard printed in Russia (and those men in the boat are probably Russians too) but Spitsbergen isn't and never was *part of* Russia even though there is still an active Russian settlement in Barentsburg (I was there just last month). Geographically, that card should be classified as Norway rather than Russia. I'm just nit-picking. :)

    Yes it's no doubt a Russian postcard printed in Russia (and those men in the boat are probably Russians too) but Spitsbergen isn't and never was *part of* Russia even though there is still an active Russian settlement in Barentsburg (I was there just last month). Geographically, that card should be classified as Norway rather than Russia. I'm just nit-picking. :)
